The KV Kabine is the perfect rural retreat for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful Pacific NW forest and the endearing inhabitants that call it home. You may see deer foraging and wild turkeys frolicking, hear owls hooting and our most vocal friends, the frogs, serenading you into the evening.

Ideal for couples and solo travelers, the studio-style cabin has a maximum occupancy of two. Nature lovers, dreamers and wanderers welcome!

The space
The treehouse cabin is built on three large fir trees, using engineered steel treehouse supports. The supports are designed to move with the trees and not limit their growth or cause damage.

The cozy studio interior features shiplap siding and live edge details for a rustic, yet clean and airy feel. The studio has a queen-size bed with ultra soft bamboo sheets, a kitchenette with mini fridge and a pop-up dining table. It also has a private bathroom, an outdoor shower and robes to keep you warm.

If you'd like to dine al fresco, there is a bar area on the deck. Plates, bowels, mugs, wine glasses, utensils, wine bottle opener and can opener are provided.

One of the great features of the cabin is it's 360 wrap-around deck, allowing you to view all angles of the property and enjoy eastern forest views (and beautiful sunrises) from the back porch. Please note the south side of the treehouse cabin faces our home, which is situated about 100+ yards away.

The square footage of the cabin is 250 sq ft. It's the perfect cozy getaway for anyone who loves nature and being away from town. All furnishings were chosen to enhance the serene ambiance the forest provides.

Note: We are rurally located about 20 mins from Monmouth/Independence (north) and Corvallis and Philomath to the south. We have a local store about 5 minutes away for snacks and beverages, but you'll have to travel to town for restaurants.

Other things to note
We are thrilled you're considering the KV Kabine for your getaway! Please consider this is a forest dwelling. It doesn't have unlimited hot water or fancy amenities. While we’ve tried to make it as comfortable as possible, it is a cabin in the woods, whose main purpose is to provide a retreat for our guests. You won’t find a jetted hot tub, a toaster, a tv, lightening fast wifi or an indoor shower. BUT you will find a peaceful retreat in a private, cozy, custom-built cabin nestled among firs and oaks. 🌲

The cabin is seasonal and closed from late November through March.

My husband Rob and I co-host the property. We're laid back, love exploring food and wine and absolutely love hosting. I'm a city girl learning the country ropes and he's a country boy learning to deal with me. :) We love our little slice of heaven out here in the Willamette Valley and are thrilled to be able to share it.
