Welcome to Forest Glamping at Ruidoso Valley Getaway. This cozy glamping trailer sits on a quiet 38-acre ranch in historic Glencoe, just 9 miles east of Ruidoso Downs on US-70. Guests come here to relax under big New Mexico skies, enjoy campfires, explore walking trails, and experience the peaceful countryside while still being close to Ruidoso.
The property borders Lincoln National Forest, offering easy access to hiking and mountain scenery while returning to a quiet rural retreat each evening.
You’ll likely see our friendly ranch dogs making their rounds and chickens wandering the pasture. Many guests spend their evenings outside enjoying the fresh mountain air, watching sunsets, and stargazing under some of the darkest skies in the Ruidoso Valley.

Water is fresh well water from a 150-foot deep aquifer and is fully potable.

Property Notes
The property is fully fenced with 7-foot elk fencing and gated with two controlled entrances. Exterior security cameras monitor gates, roads, parking areas, and common outdoor spaces. There are no cameras inside any rental.
The host lives on the property and actively maintains the ranch.
This rental is intended for guests seeking a peaceful rural getaway rather than a nightlife destination. A 10pm quiet curfew is observed to maintain the relaxing environment for all guests.
Parking accommodates two vehicles at the rental, with additional space available for trailers.
Alcohol is permitted. Outdoor 420 use is permitted in accordance with New Mexico law.
Guest access
Access is via an improved, well-packed gravel road off US-70. Motorcycles have no issue using the road. There is no risk of flooding or mud; the property sits on the side of a mountain with proper grade and water diversion.
The property is gated; guests must open and close the gate upon entry and exit.
Guests may walk or bicycle the trails on the property and have direct access to the Lincoln National Forest for hiking or mountain biking. No ATVs, dirt bikes, or other motorized vehicles are allowed on the property, except e-bikes.
Guests may trailer ATVs, dirt bikes, or other recreational vehicles and depart directly from the property on them; however, please do so quietly and do not exceed 5 mph while on the property.
Other things to note
Bring flashlights. This is a rural property, and many areas are not lighted at night.
Guests must bring their own firewood and charcoal.

This is a rural countryside property adjoining Lincoln National Forest wilderness. The property is enclosed with 7-foot elk fencing, which deters deer, elk, coyotes, and wolves. Guests should still expect the possible presence of raccoons, feral cats, foxes, skunks, ringtails, insects, and snakes, including rattlesnakes.
Four working pasture dogs roam the property and significantly reduce wildlife activity.
Guests who walk beyond the immediate area of their rental (30-foot perimeter) do so at their own risk. The host and Airbnb are not responsible for accidents or incidents occurring outside this area.
