Welcome to our cosy little villa on a 1 acre fenced property at the idyllic and picturesque village Koleri at Wayanad.
Minimalistic without compromising on necessities is the theme that we have adopted. Clean beds , fresh pillows, blankets, towels , soap , shampoo, clean toilets and bath with hot water shower are our offerings to every guest.
We follow government guidelines on sanitisation protocols. A perfect getaway destination to unwind and have a stellar experience of the countryside.
The space
1 acre fenced property with coffee plants , coconut trees, banana plantation etc. facing a paddy field on the back side and road in front. There are few houses in the neighbourhood . The place is very safe although at times you may feel secluded and away from the hustle and bustle .
The cottage has two floors . The upper floor has a studio type room with a high cathedral ceiling , king size bed , pantry, modern wash room with Jaquar fittings , balcony facing the Village Road and a terrace facing the paddy field. Guests can enjoy the scenic view of the misty mountains early in the morning from the terrace.
The lower floor is a 2 BHK with a modern wash room with Jaquar fittings. There is a TV in the hall , 1 queen size bed in a bedroom and another queen size bed in the other bedroom. Extra floor mattresses can be arranged on request. BLDC ceiling fans with remote are provided in all rooms.
In the early morning you will be woken up by the devotional songs from the distant temple and greeted by the chirping of numerous birds.
If you love birding bring your camera . If you are lucky you may be able to capture on camera the woodpecker, coppersmith barbets, white cheeked barbet, red vented bulbul, black drongo, myna, etc.
At night you may be able to see the glittering fire flies and hear the sounds of cricket and frogs. Or you can simply gaze at the stars while experiencing the warmth of the bonfire sharing stories with friends .
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire property. No restrictions whatsoever. However please respect the privacy of guests staying in other cottages in the property.
Swimming Pool Rules for Guests
Exuberance Stays, Wayanad, Kerala
Pool Hours: Open daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Kindly adhere to these timings.
Swim Attire: Only proper swimwear is permitted. Jeans, khakis, or inappropriate clothing are not allowed.
Shower First: Please shower in the designated shower room before entering the pool.
Children: Children under 12 years must be supervised by an adult at all times.
No Diving: Diving is prohibited as the pool is shallow.
Safety First: Avoid running, horseplay, or roughhousing around the pool.
No Soap or Oil: Refrain from applying soap, lotion, or oil before entering or while in the pool to maintain water quality.
Food and Drinks: Eat and drink only in designated areas. Glass containers are strictly prohibited.
Cleanliness: Keep the pool area clean by disposing of trash in the bins provided.
Health Precautions: Guests with open wounds or those feeling unwell should avoid using the pool.
Respect Others: Maintain an atmosphere of respect by keeping noise levels low and sharing space considerately.
Emergencies: Report accidents or safety concerns immediately to the caretaker.

Other things to note
Bonfire can be arranged on request.
Tea bags, coffee , Dairy whitener , sugar , electric kettle and cups are provided in the room.
A refrigerator is provided.
An electric and charcoal barbecue can be made available to guests for a nominal charge.
In case if you would like to show case your culinary skills to your co- guests , Gas/ convection Heater and basic vessels are kept in the ground floor kitchen. Groceries can be arranged.
Menu card is provided for your convenience and food will be delivered from a restaurant with whom we have an arrangement. You can use the Dinner set which is placed on the pantry platform .
There may be occasional power outages particularly during the rainy season . All electric switches labelled “E” are emergency inverter lamps, guests can switch on these switches during a power outage, as a standby we have also kept enough number of Chargeable Batterry operated lanterns in the house. Candles can be made available on request .
We have a broadband cable modem wifi router combo connection. As a standby arrangement we also have a JioFi pocket wifi but occasionally the signal strength is weak. Wifi password will be shared with you on arrival.
Managing waste is one of the biggest challenges we face. Kindly avoid littering the premises with plastic bottles and other non biodegradable materials.
The place is positioned as a village stay we have made our best efforts to provide you possible luxuries in this setting. Some conveniences , facilities and amenities that one would expect in an urban dwelling may be missing here at times . There should not be any post booking cognitive dissonance . We are sure that you will appreciate and enjoy the stay very much as we enjoy hosting you.
We haven’t installed air conditioners not because we cannot afford it, but nature can not.
