Guests call it the big green house. It's a 1940 Chico classic with beautiful refinished original hardwood floors, three bedrooms on one side of the house, and a large 18x12 primary bedroom on the other, with its own 55 inch TV, hi-fi speakers, and Philips Hue color changing lights. Out front there's a huge orange tree with a citrus picker, and out back a fish pond, fire pit, and charcoal grill. It's about a 10 minute walk to Enloe Hospital and 10 minutes to downtown and Chico State.

The space
The separated layout works well for families and groups: three bedrooms on one side of the house with a king, a queen, and a double bed, and the large primary bedroom on the other side with a king bed, a 55 inch TV connected to hi-fi speakers, and Philips Hue color changing lights.

Out front is a huge orange tree. Grab some oranges with the citrus picker (basically a basket on a broom stick) and juice them with the industrial juicer in the kitchen. In the backyard there is a water feature with fish. Please feed the fish once or twice a day during your stay.

The backyard also has an outdoor seating area, a fire pit, and a charcoal grill. Central air conditioning keeps the house cool through Chico summers, and a washer, dryer, and dishwasher are included.

It is about a 10 minute walk to Enloe Hospital and 10 minutes to downtown and Chico State.

Other things to note
It's rare, but if you see that the outdoor water feature is low on water, please add water using the hose.

Trash is picked up early on Tuesday mornings. If you are staying on a Monday, please make sure that the cans make it to the curb.
