Welcome to Sand Castles Cottages, Cottage 8. (See all nine at www.airbnb.com/p/scc) We are close to two public beaches and located between St. Joseph & South Haven, MI. Our property is unique in that we have 9 vacation rental cottages on one acre. Built between the 1930s-50s, our cottages are one of the last properties of this type along Lake Michigan in this area. We try to keep the old charm while adding modern amenities. All our cottages are SMOKE &PET free. 1 mile to beach access!

The space
Cottage 8 is a two bedroom cottage and is part of a back to back duplex with cottage 9.
It sleeps up to 5 with a queen bed, and a twin over queen bunk bed. All linens are provided.
The kitchen is small but fully stocked. It has a 4 burner gas apartment size range, microwave, toaster, Keurig with pods, waffle maker, dishes, and pots and pans. There is a dining table for four.
The private bathroom has a shower and soaps are provided.
This unit has a deck with table and gas grill. There is a nearby communal fire pit and outdoor games available (like cornhole and disc golf).
The unit has a smart tv with Roku and wifi and in guest mode you can stream your own accounts.
The spaces inside the cottage are small but efficient and the perfect spot to land at the end of a busy day in SW MI!
Please note: The interior doorways in this cottage are more narrow than a standard doorway.

Guest access
Two public beaches on Lake Michigan are located one mile north and south of Sand Castles Cottages. Hagar Beach Park to the south has a large park with playground and picnic area. We are located on the lakeshore road m63, right between St. Joseph and South Haven, MI.

Other things to note
No tents please.
Pack n play available upon request.
No marijuana smoking on our property.
No pets.
We have bikes to borrow.
