Welcome to Sand Castles Cottages, Cottage 6. (See all nine at www.airbnb.com/p/scc) We are close to two public beaches and located between St. Joseph & South Haven, MI. Our property is unique in that we have 9 vacation rental cottages on one acre. Built between the 1930s-50s, it is one of the last properties of this type along Lake Michigan in this area. We have tried to keep the old charm while adding modern amenities. This listing is for cottage 6.

The space
Cottage 6 is an ORIGINAL TINY HOUSE! We have tried to keep this 1950s cottage’s charming vintage feel but updated this cottage with modern amenities.
This studio cottage sleeps 2 with a queen bed, all linens provided. There is a private bathroom with shower and a kitchenette with Keurig, toaster oven, microwave, and induction cooktop. A table for two is inside and there is outdoor seating in the yard.
Basically everything is provided for your stay except personal toiletries and food. There is an HDTV with Roku providing hundreds of channels and WiFi.
Outside there is a gas grill and charcoal grill (charcoal not included but often left from previous guests) plus a communal fire pit nearby (firewood provided). We now have two screened in gazebos that are available to all our guests. There are outdoor games between cottages 3 and 8.

Other things to note
Our cottages can be rented all at once to provide a nice stay for groups!
Because we have road frontage on M63, there can be potential traffic noise, although this would be one of the more quiet cottages.
No tents please!
No pets allowed. If you bring a pet you will lose your deposit and be asked to remove the pet immediately.
We do have bikes you can borrow.
