Welcome to Camp Stanley, a private riverside retreat on the beautiful Lewis River. Perfect for family gatherings, fishing trips, and celebrations, the property features multiple indoor and outdoor spaces for dining, relaxing, and entertaining. Enjoy world-class salmon, steelhead, and trout fishing, a cook’s kitchen with a Wolf oven and Le Creuset cookware, scenic walking paths, riverfront decks, a fire pit, and creative experiences in the Camp Stanley Art Studio.

The space
Camp Stanley has served as our family’s riverside retreat for more than 20 years, creating a place where generations gather, celebrate, fish, and reconnect.

The three-story cabin comfortably accommodates groups with two bedrooms on the upper level, one on the main floor, and two on the lower level. Just steps away, guests can enjoy a detached game room featuring a pool table, board games, and a home theater, perfect for rainy days, friendly competition, or movie nights.

The property sits along one of our favorite stretches of the Lewis River, with a riffle, tailout, and deep pool that attracts trout, steelhead, and salmon throughout the year. Whether you’re casting a line, enjoying a meal on the deck, gathering around the fire pit, or simply listening to the river flow by, Camp Stanley offers a true Pacific Northwest getaway

Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire Camp Stanley property, including the main cabin, detached party room, fire pit, basketball court, horseshoe pit, archery range, campground, and Fairyland, a whimsical network of wooded trails leading down to the river.
The property features extensive private river frontage along the Lewis River, offering opportunities for fishing, wildlife viewing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and exploring. Whether you’re gathering around the fire, enjoying a friendly game of basketball or horseshoes, casting a line, or wandering the forest trails, Camp Stanley offers plenty of space to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the outdoors.

From Portland
● Follow I-5 North to Woodland Exit #21.
● At the end of the exit, turn right.
● Turn right toward Amboy just before the Arco station.
● Cross the river and stay left onto NW Hayes Road.
● Follow the river and veer left when you reach Etna Road. Continue staying left as you follow the river.
● Turn left onto NE 89th Avenue, a gravel road marked by a cluster of mailboxes at the entrance.

A Note About the Final Stretch
NE 89th Avenue is a privately maintained gravel road. While it is regularly graded and maintained, it can be somewhat rough and bumpy in places depending on recent weather and road work. Please take your time and drive slowly.
The neighborhood is rural and home to a variety of animals and families. You may encounter dogs, chickens, ducks, goats, cats, and children along the road, so please use caution and keep your speed low.
