Wake up to spectacular lake and mountain views in Bukovina, a 100-year-old log cabin at Orgonon—a historic 200-acre estate in Rangeley, ME, with miles of wooded trails at your doorstep. This 2-room retreat sleeps 4 (Queen + Full beds) with a screened porch, heat, AC, mini-fridge, coffee and tea service, and fiber Wi-Fi. No indoor plumbing; a coded-entry camp bathhouse with 2 private, lockable bathrooms with showers is a short walk away, shared among camp guests. Refined simplicity.

The space
Orgonon is the historic estate of Wilhelm Reich, whose museum stands on the hill above the camps. Bukovina is a century-old log cabin, moved from Haley Pond and rebuilt here log by log last year. Beds are made up with quality linens, blankets, and comfortable pillows, with room-darkening shades on all windows for late mornings. A tall table for two, a mini-fridge, and both heat and AC—comfortable on a crisp fall morning or a hot July afternoon. Coffee and tea service is provided—brewer, pods, electric kettle, sugar, and half & half. On the screened porch, a couch and one of the finest views in the Rangeley Lakes region!

Guests have the entire cabin and screened porch to themselves. The camp bathhouse—with 2 private, lockable bathrooms with showers—is a short walk away and shared among camp guests; your door code works around the clock. Miles of wooded trails across the 200-acre estate are open to explore, and parking is a short walk along a forest path from the cabin.

Other things to note
Orgonon is dark at night. If you're arriving after sunset for the first time, drive slowly and watch for signs—parking is around the back driveway, past the museum at the top of the hill, and solar lights mark the parking areas and path entrances. You'll need your flashlight to get to the bathhouse at night. The Wilhelm Reich Museum is open Saturdays in September for a few hours; the grounds and trails are yours anytime.
