Stay in the most eclectic and artistic hand crafted home in the heart of Downtown Hot Springs, NC. Our personal home has amazing views with ease and relaxation at every turn, all four porches have wonderful views .
We have a designated work station, high speed fiber wifi, hot tub, fire pit, fireplace, fully stocked kitchen with full size refrigerator and full size washer and dryer. Park the car and enjoy the heart of downtown. You have everything that Hot Springs has to offer at your fingertips with no car needed.
There are limited curtains and nothing that blocks the sunlight for dark out style sleeping.

MASTER SUITE- a full size bed roosts in the windows to watch the mist rise from the mountains or sunset full of color and fire. The suite is setup with smart TV viewing from the bed or the chaise lounger. There is a designated work desk with office supplies, tv for a monitor usb connection , and FIBER WIFI so you can work and play all in the same place. Two dressers, hanging closet with robes, full bathroom with glass shower and full-size washer and dryer. There are two porches on each side of the master suite, one screened to view the town and the other open with clear ceiling to view Lovers Leap and Hot Springs mountain.
LIVING ROOM- enjoy sitting and relaxing by the gas fireplace (Seasonal, generally Nov 01-April 01) or lounging on the couch that has a queen size memory foam pullout with linens under the stairs in containers.
KITCHEN-Check out the hand painted floor while cooking in a fully stocked kitchen. Amenities include Keurig coffee pot, french press, coffee bean grinder, tea kettle, electric hand mixer, rice cooker, crock pot, blender and toaster . Knock gently on the front of full size refrigerator to open and get a cold drink;)
OUTSIDE enjoy sitting in the four person hot tub while watching the sunset. Get out the s'mores and sit around the large fire pit on the front porch while basking in the gorgeous views and all that these mountains have to offer. Like to grill we have a park style charcoal grill and table off the back porch while you take in Lovers Leap and Hot Springs Mountain

"THE BIRDCAGE" is part of Hot Springs NC history. This 120 year old charming beauty was part of the Dorland School property. It served as the nurses quarters and the house next door served as the hospital. The current owner purchased the home over 40 years ago in an almost crumbled state but the bones still strong. The home was restored with some of the original pieces of history still intact and of course plumbing and wiring added as a few of the modern amenities;)
