Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Guanajuato

We stayed for two and a half months. Rosie was by far the best property manager we have ever encountered. She usually responded to texts within five minutes. She always solved problems when they arose. she was proactive, asking us feel as if there was anything we needed her or her assistant, Marta, to do for us. Marta was exemplary too. As was the gardener/handyman who seemed to be able to fix any problem, and do it promptly. Our location was superb. My special treat was a Fonda 2 1/2 blocks away where I could get a litre of freshly squeezed orange juice for 50 pesos.

Beautiful house in a very quiet area, ideal for any type of family stay. Very good communication with Roberto at all times. There was a lot of security in the subdivision, which made us feel very calm and safe. Everything was amazing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Again the house is divine, we look forward to returning 🩷

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We used the pool just about every day. If you're looking for a quiet area of town, this is not it. The church bells start early! Explosive fireworks (assuming it's a Holy Week tradition, and not always present) were loud and even startling at times, but didn't go past 10 PM. If you're looking for a walkable area and a home that feels both historic and cozy, this is the perfect choice. Good restaurants were within walking distance, like Mestiza and Cafe Rama. El Manantial was perfect for tacos and margaritas! Loved the park and the plaza for local culture and the diverse bird population. We enjoyed Isabel's tortilla soup, but mostly ate out. I loved my mornings in the library. Loved City Market and wish we'd gone earlier in the week to stock up on more items for the week. If you are lucky enough to stay here, enjoy! SMA is a beautiful place, and it's the ideal spot from which to enjoy the lively city.

For me, it's very close to downtown, and it really has room for 3 cars. Tidy and good sized bedrooms. We had a great weekend, I would definitely come back.

A lovely place to enjoy with family and friends. No alcohol sales after 9 p.m.

It was a very quiet stay, in the center you can reach in less than 10 minutes, it is a safe area to walk at any time. The house is beautiful.

Hugo is super friendly and helpful. Prior our trip, he has been sending messages to us to for local recommendations, activities, and offer us help. His place is a lot prettier, more spacious and more amazing as the pictures show. It has two big terrace areas. We took many pictures inside the Airbnb, because it is so gorgeous! We arrived really late on the day, but his assistant Jose stayed late to help us check in. Jose was patient and guided us through the house, helps us move our luggage. Hugo was a big helper for helping us arranged ride from Mexico City to San Miguel. Thank you so much, we truly enjoyed our stay!

We were extremely satisfied with our stay at Quinta Tenerias. Staff was so polite and resourceful. Location is ideal since it is within walking distance from San Miguel's iconic cathedral and the best restaurants. This will definitely not be the last time we stay at this wonderful place!

I have stayed at David place twice. And had a great experience both times. I would love to live there. That's how much I liked it. You can have amazing quality sleep with the comfy bed and flannel sheets, feels just like home. Lots of natural light, the kitchen is fully stocked and the rooftop an amazing place to hang out.

Beautifully decorated home in a great Location in Downtown San Miguel! Walking distance to amazing coffee shops, restaurants and shopping! The Home is very well maintained and equipped with all necessities!

When we came in late at night we were greeted by the owners and fresh flowers. The place was clean and cozy and there was even a bottle of wine waiting for us. We loved the privacy of the outside courtyard, enjoyed having our morning tea and breakfast there. We would rent from Salvador again.

The property is really spectacular. We really enjoyed our stay. It was a family gathering which was pleasant. The house has many details that add comfort, rest, fun and everything you need to have a good vacation. Jorge was always attentive and the workers he has also provided first-class service. We will definitely stay at this property again, which I can easily say has been the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. Thank you Jorge for all your attentions.

This was a fabulous location to stay in in SMA. My family of 13 was so comfortable; plenty of room. The place was absolutely gorgeous. Rosario and her sister Lolita took care of every need. Rosario‘s cooking was amazing we only got to have dinner one night because we had so many plans but the morning breakfasts were fabulous And always a supply of chips and salsa during the day for anyone to snack on. I 100% would recommend this place to anyone visiting San Miguel de Allende . five days was not enough! Many of my guests did walk to and from town but others chose to Uber/taxi and that was very easy. We did some wonderful hiking tours , music tours , ATV excursions and lots of fun shopping and fantastic restaurants. We were visiting for a family wedding but I would certainly go back. Thank you Nancy for offering this fabulous location and thank you to Rosario for making us feel so welcome.

We didn’t know much about Villas Xichu when we booked it — it just seemed to be a convenient and reasonably priced higher-end accommodation. But Gloria was extremely friendly and communicative from the word “go”, checking in with us frequently as our stay approached. When we finally arrived (while Gloria herself was abroad), the staff welcomed us right away, and we were very pleasantly surprised to learn we had been upgraded to the nuptial suite. This was a significant upgrade to a beautiful apartment with a stunning view of SMA, amazing decor and many thoughtful amenities. Gloria continued to check in how we were finding things, made us feel right at home and part of the Villas Xichu family! I heartily recommend and can’t wait to return!

This is the second time that we come, we are 4 marriages and we had a great time. Tranquil any doubts they would answer us very soon. Super house well located, you find everything around, you find everything inside the house. Excellent for family moments, delicious garden now enjoy reading coffee you find the morning. Congratulations!

This Holt villa is gorgeous, spacious, clean and quiet. It's even more impressive than the photos. I love staying here and would definitely return. The villa is a 15 minute walk to the city center. After long meals I enjoyed the steep uphill return hike. For those less inclined to walk, ubers and local taxis are very affordable.
