Alejandra was a jewel, she saw to it that all my needs were attended to, had a very friendly personality and helped to point out some of the things to do in the city. Loved her bungalow style home, it has a decent grocery store within walking distance and there are plenty of nice hotels with beautiful patios to drink and dine at in the neighborhood

We stayed at Casa Serena for almost 2 months. The house is charming and had everything we needed to feel at home and be self-reliant. The beds were so comfortable and the linens and towels were top-notch. Have a filtered water spout in the kitchen was a huge plus as it was great not to have to purchase and lug drinking water! The house is within easy downhill walking distance to the historic district with its lovely parks, museums, shops and restaurants. As is the case in many Guanajuato neighborhoods, the house sits on a hillside and so your walk back up from town is quite a workout! Still, that did not pose a problem for us. Alvaro was a perfect host. He was very responsive to any questions that came up and showed genuine concerns for our comfort and experience in his hometown. The welcome packet provided great recommendations for excursions and restaurants to try. Thank you too, Alvaro for the lovely sparkling wine you presented us with when we arrived. Thank you, Alvaro!

This Airbnb is amazing! Waking up to the veiw of Guanajuato especially at night. The property is spacious and has a large balcony. The owner has cats that roam free on the balcony area. Won’t mess with you, just curious. Bit of a walk from the Main Street but Ubers were able to navigate easily.

I recommend the place. The location is close to the dam. During my stay I only walked to get to the center. Transportation was not necessary. The house is very well adapted. I appreciate the kindness and availability ✨✨✨
