Sauk Lake Retreat - 5BR w/pvt hot tub/dock/boat

Relax with the whole family or close friends at this peaceful and secluded getaway! We have the most breathtaking views of Sauk Lake with over 100 feet of private shoreline. Trees outline the property for privacy. Gorgeous sunsets in the hot tub are our favorite! Rent the pontoon or enjoy the complementary kayaks/paddle boat for some adventure. The boat launch is 4 minutes away. Fish off the dock or use provided icehouse, hammerschlagen, indoor/outdoor games, or just gather around fire pit.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. Joan and I live on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r." Diversity is welcome.

Retreat on Mound Lake

Come relax at this lovely retreat on Mound Lake! You can easily spend all day in the outdoors enjoying the lake, hiking, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding or lounging on one of the decks. Enjoy the outdoors well into the evening using the outdoor fire pit, new barrel sauna, or relaxing inside the large screened porch. Dock, kayaks & paddle board will be available from May through September. A 2019 Bennington Pontoon (50hp) is available to rent during your stay. Please inquire separately.

Sanders Lodge @Three Acre Woods

You can sleep well after a long day of snowmobiling, hunting, fishing or sight seeing at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Sit around the campfire in the evening and relax. This has a queen bed, twin trundle bed and comfy couch for sleeping. In the kitchenette there is a full size fridge, a two burner stove, microwave, coffee pot, blender and a toaster/pizza/convection oven. Be aware, you will have to share the party room side with some homeschoolers on Wednesday mornings.
