If you are looking for a peaceful seaside retreat this is it!! Alecia’s place is well away from the main road and incredibly peaceful. The property is very well equipped - especially the kitchen!! We cooked pretty much all of our meals here and she thought of everything!! Thermostats in every room. Plenty of windows to have open or closed as the weather allowed. Comfy furniture. Beautiful beach to walk on and many more close by. Quiet nights. Friendly wildlife (shore birds, deer, rabbits). Alecia is a friendly and responsive host. We had a few questions and she was always quick to answer. Very helpful!! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay. Sarah and Peter were friendly and down to earth. We felt right at home in their peaceful little cabin in the forest. Fabulous if you are looking for quiet space close to hiking, nature, beaches, and local art or just need a little solitude. We would highly recommend staying here! We had everything we needed and felt right at home. This is a gem of a place.

An idyllic setting that makes you want to stay and watch the wildlife or the waves. Yet there is much to do and explore in the neighborhood. Couldn’t wish for better hosts. A truly enjoyable and unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.

Stone's Throw cottage is like a home away from home for me. I have been visiting annually for a number of years and no place could match it. Joe is the super host of super hosts - he has thought of everything and goes above and beyond to make sure his guests have a truly memorable experience. As always, I arrived to the most thoughtful treats - including fresh eggs, bread, butter, coffee, cookies, a candle, and more - and all of it local, too!
