Very tranquil place, very clean shower, comfortable bed, great amenities, lots of magazines and easy to use television. Very short distance from Montpelier. Nice bird variety, lovely flowers, you can hear the river from the apartment. Bridge is cool, river bank is fun, chairs outside.

It was a short stay with friends discovering the Adirondacks and Ausable Chasm - a short convenient drive from the unit. We enjoyed the proximity to the river and its white noise during the night. The communications with the host were perfect! Thank you

The location is perfect with easy access to the Ausable river with brown trout fishing within 100 yards. Meg was friendly and responsive and made sure everything was smooth. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful Adirondack getaway!

This property is delightful! Apartment is minutes from downtown Middlebury, right on the river and overlooking Dog Team falls. The apartment was great — really comfortable and with a terrific kitchen where you could actually cook (we didn’t, but it was fully stocked with cookware). And had a French press with great coffee, a personal bonus! Susan was a great communicator and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

We stayed for a month and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Looked just like the pics (even better actually) and was squeaky clean! June was super responsive and very friendly / knowledgeable about where to go. SO MUCH to do in the area! Her place is walkable to just about everywhere nearby - safe and super quiet. Bed was super comfy and shower was awesome! Kitchen had everything we needed and the washer dryer unit is a powerhouse. The back yard views of the lake are to die for! We brought our bikes and rode the trails all over. Do the causeway if you have bikes (or rent them). June’s guide is chock full of amazing suggestions and she responds quickly with questions. The stay was great. We were accommodated for early check in which was greatly appreciated as we were there for a wedding and had events to get to by the original check in time. The apartment was clean and neat. Great spot, local to so many restaurants. Errin was extremely friendly and provided such quick responses with any questions I had. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Perfect peaceful stay, close to Jay Peak and the Inn's restaraunt is right down the road. Right on the river, we enjoyed being able to do a polar plunge in the woods to start our day! Our pup felt right at home and it's a perfect place to stay anytime of the year

Such a wonderful place to stay! The location and scenery blew me away, and the house was so beyond gorgeous. Very clean, accessible, had everything I could've possibly needed. Hosts were very reachable and responsive. We had a wonderful time and were very appreciative of getting to stay in such a lovely place!

Where do I start...from before I arrived, up until my departure...Joanne was attentive in every way possible. All my questions were answered with an immediate response. The home was extraordinary. The effort Joanne has put in to making it just like home shows. With an abundance of whimsical touches. Up until the day I left, I would see a new thing. As if the enchanting home wasn't enough, the back patio is a place of serenity...with the sounds and view of the river extraordinary. I could go on and on, but I will just say, "it was the best vacation I have ever had". One word describes this Airbnb...AMAZING!!!🩷. I will return next year! This place is worth your stay, it was beautiful smelt fresh as the cleaner did amazing, I felt like I was at home the nice quite outdoors for my family to relax and see the view of lake Eden! Thank you for letting my family enjoy our stay, we will be back!

Great house with lake access right across the street. Will look to stay here again. Had enough space for our group and the outdoor area is massive and shaded.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. What a beautiful house! You needed of nothing. The house was so nicely decorated, very clean and so comfortable. You felt right at home. Spacious and so peaceful falling asleep in the most comfortable beds listening to the river running by. Blake and Becca were so helpful and we enjoyed all their suggestions for restaurants and activities around Stowe. We definitely recommend their home and we cannot wait to come back. My wife and I absolutely loved staying at Johnathan's place in Wilmington. It was even better than it looked in the photos! Beautiful location and felt private while also being very convenient to many hiking locations and the town of Lake Placid. We loved the 2nd floor deck off the bedroom, and it was soothing to have the sound of the river down the embankment below. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Johnathan!

We enjoyed our stay - we were in town for a family wedding nearby and the space allowed our extended family to gather easily. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we weren’t able to take advantage of the outdoor space but did make use of the pool and foosball tables in the basement. The view of Lake Champlain right outside the windows was great - beautiful sunsets. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to grill one night - the local Hannaford grocery store was less than 10 minutes away. As described in the listing, there are only 2 full bathrooms. It was a little tight having 8 people trying to shower and get ready for the wedding at the same time. Overall, a nice place in a pretty location.

We enjoyed our stay at Kathleen’s house very much. There were 6 of us; my family and my brother’s. The house was very cozy with an open kitchen and living room space with high ceilings. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and many things we didn’t expect like breakfast foods, coffee, etc. The two bathrooms were both spotless and had lots of nice soft towels. The outdoor furniture was very nice and new and the property is private and nicely maintained. A few of us also enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake directly across the street. We were attending a family reunion at a house on the same street so the location was extremely convenient. We liked this house so much we would like to book again for our future reunions.

Lovely home in a lovely setting. The view is breathtaking and Barbara has outfitted the space woth everything you could possibly need. She is extremely thoughtful and personable. The area is great for hiking and outdoor activities but is also near Middlebury College and Burlington.

The view of the lake is so serene and having access to it on the property was quite the bonus feature. My family knew it was too cold to swim but we were looking forward to the calmness of it all. Dominique let us know that she'd be around the last night of our stay which was a nice heads up in case we heard any noises in the main house above. They were very quiet neighbors! We took a trip over to Cold Hollow Sculpture Park during the day to visit during their last open weekend of the year which was a nice way to see some art and the surrounding landscape. Maybe next time we'll get a bite to eat somewhere but we had everything we needed to prepare meals so we mostly stayed put this time around. We'd love to stay again next time we're looking for a VT getaway if they'd have us.

Great place for a trip to Stowe. Super convenient location in walking distance to lower access road shops and restaurants. Nicely and cleanly decorated. Kitchen well equipped and super comfy bed. Would return for sure! Thanks!

We would ideally have liked to stay longer and Sarah was very accommodating in that regard but the rainy weather forced us to travel north as we are on tight schedule. Would definitely visit again when we are back in Vermont in future.

Very comfortable stay - convenient to ski wither Sugarbush or Mad River. Philip sent specific instructions for turning the heat up on arrival. It took a little while to warm up, but individual thermostats in LR and BR worked nicely. Local recommendations for restaurants and such were spot on.

What a hidden gem in northern Vermont. If you are into skiing, this spot is convenient to access Jay Peak and other great resorts. Regarding the property, our group felt right at home surrounded by a beautiful space with small walking trails and the constant roaring of an amazing waterfall. The space was fully equipped with everything we needed and even more. Completely recommended, you will not be dissapointed.

Our friend group was looking for a place to stay close to the whiteface mountain and we got super lucky to find Jo’s house! Beautiful house, stylish & super cozy - we felt like at home right away! All this in addition to beautiful surroundings made our trip an unforgettable experience! Each bedroom had a private bathroom and a common bathroom on the first floor which was amazing for a group of 6 people. Showers deserve an additional mention - it was definitely a calming and relaxing experience! Jo is an amazing host. Communication was great, we were given a lot of recommendations about local “must-visit” places. The host is super responsive, kind and understanding! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience at Jo’s place and hopefully we can go there again in the future! we highly recommend it!!

My family loved our stay at the Stowe Nook, it’s the perfect location, close to everything in town and even the shuttle to the mountain. So convenient to have the grocery store right next-door. It’s a charming town and the townhouse is warm and cozy. My teens love having their own space downstairs. Josee is a lovely host and very easy to communicate with.
