Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Franschhoek

Had a lovely stay at Stoneybrook cottage. Stunning gardens, and the cottage has everything you could need - from a tv at the end of the bed, thoughtful food / drinks stocked in the fridge and we really enjoyed the hot tub on a slightly overcast windy day. We wanted to play tennis and Mithran (the owner) invited us along to his tennis morning which was great!

Great place! Loved the pedal boat option. Perhaps not so ideal if you have toddlers because the staircase does not have rails. Minor issue really and other than that we had a good stay.

What a wonderful time we had in Alex’s beautiful Higgovale House with its special atmosphere. A home from home we felt immediately at ease. The tropical gardens give the feeling of being in the midst of the jungle - despite being only minutes from the lively Kloof Street with its many restaurants and coffee shops (wine bar/coffee shop/deli Tamboerswinkel deserves a special mention). We felt very safe at night and enjoyed being able to access Cape Town‘s sights quickly. A highlight was our hike to Lions Head - again only a stone throw away from the house. Alex’s great communication throughout our stay was not surprising, given his friendly welcome and advice and whilst we didn’t stay long enough to get to know her, housekeeper Barbara also seemed very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

A beautiful place which matched the AirBnB description. Hayley was our contact and was very helpful, it was lovely having her there to meet us at the property when we arrived and she provided great communication throughout our stay.

This is an AirBnB with a little something extra! Every detail is thought out and it really is a perfect place to unwind and spend some time away from the city. We kayaked, walked around the nature reserve, fished (badly), drank amazing coffee on their jetty and wandered around Muizenberg. There's even a hot tub :) The hosts, David and Maya, are super helpful with tons of recommendations, flexible and quick to respond. Also check out Truth Coffee Roasting, David's place, for a really unique experience. Thank you!

Very beautiful place to stay, felt at home right away. Has loads of space. Very peaceful and quiet. Didier was very helpful and responsive. Awesome property!

Bettina and Marcos House ist just awesome! We highly recommend to stay here. Its absolutely great equipped. Has a large fridge + dishwashing machine and a washing machine. Every room has an awesome sea view. Its much bigger like it was on the pictures. Check in was easy because they are working with an key box. We enjoyed our stay pretty much and hope to come back soon!

This rating should have been seven or eight stars. This is a charming little cottage, beautifully presented, with all the amenities needed, including toys and books for children! Lisa went above and beyond what could be expected to give us a wonderful place and enable us to really enjoy our stay. We are a party of five, including two children and one baby. The house was ideal, and the sitting out area enabled people to come and see us, without us always having to go and see friends and family. It is a quiet Neighbourhood,yet close enough to shops and restaurants to be able to walk, even with a three year-old. The problem with ratings these days, is that five stars could mean it was satisfactory and nothing worth complaining about, but in this case, it really was outstanding. If one could give seven or eight stars, that would be the appropriate rating.

The house was stunning, it felt very peaceful waiting for the family and we enjoyed how spacious the villa was. From the moment we received the keys, we were given a detailed guide on how to get around. The kids loved the swimming pool and that VIEW?! Breathtaking. Miriam was a great host and ready to help whenever we reached out. Thank you for such a wonderful stay 🙂

Our stay at The Rafters was lovely! The house was a quintessential artists cottage with amazing artwork and beautiful interior design. It had everything we needed, but the rooms did get very chilly at night, especially with a little baby. It is walking distance to all the amazing restaurants in Kalk Bay. We loved our stay and wholeheartedly recommend it to other travellers! The wood-fired hot tub was very popular too!

We have been to a number of Countryside AirBnB's and Sitrus Huijs came out as one of the top stays. We were overwhelmed with the attention to detail, the decor and the warm homely feel of the property. It absolutely matched the descriptions and there was even more on offer when we arrived. The tub was heated, fresh flowers all over and a beautiful kitchen for great cooking and dinners. The house is beautiful, and we would have stayed longer if holidays permitted. Thank you Rouen and Johan, you own a true gem in Villiersdorp. Most highly recommended.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was convenient — close to shops, restaurants, a bit far from key attractions. Check-in was smooth, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout. Overall, a lovely spot to unwind and explore the city from. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting CPT!

It was a fantastic trip for us and staying ar Glen’s house has amplified and enhanced the holiday mood definitely. We had wonderful time in the house as well as both Glen and staff were always helpful and proactive to make us spend wonderful time in the household. Very spacious and clean home. Leona and James were welcoming and responsive hosts. We weren’t able to use the pool due to the weather, but it would have been wonderful if hot. Being able to hike right up the road is also something we didn’t take advantage of due to time and winds but is a wonderful feature. We did enjoy meals on the back deck and great views of table mountain from the side deck. Excellent Shift espresso cafe and deer park cafe restaurant within walking distance down the road.

An EPIC getaway! Like none other. Down to the finest detail. Luxurious, artistic, earthy, sensual, gorgeous! Such a unique creation in a stunning, peaceful and inspiring natural environment. You can feel the heart and vision that has gone into this project. We loved so much about this place, especially all the fireplaces and hot tubs and little corners to sit and savour the magnificent views (sunset and stargazing on the outdoor cargo net, anyone?). The fantasy room was a cheeky fun bonus to an already decadent situation. Wynand and Bernadine have thought of everything! They are also very generous with their time and gifts, and were super quick to respond to our questions. Thank you for this creative masterpiece, we are very happy to know about Skaam and would love to come back!

10/10 Private, beautiful and cabin has all the little things that make the difference

The house had everything you need from toddler to adult very accommodating(books to board games), and the views were refreshing from the deck to the top of the hiking trail. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed the thoughtful gifts of wine and apples, they were such a lovely touch! To top it all off, we had a fantastic time relaxing in the cold pool and hot tub. We’re already looking forward to our next. visit!

Will and Franziska have a lovely accommodation and we’re always eager to help with recommendations or problems. After a long day exploring Cape Town there is nothing better than relaxing in the sauna and enjoy the stunning view from the patio.

Lovely location right by the beach with loads of shops and restaurants nearby. The house was lovely and very clean, had all the basics and is surrounded by other residence but still very secluded which we loved. Nolene was very friendly and helpful from beginning to end.

Our weekend in Kalk Bay staying at this beautiful and unique pad was absolutely perfect. We were welcomed in by a huge pod of thousands of dolphins in False Bay which was incredible. We were absolutely thrilled upon arrival to find a gorgeous home - stone, glass and wood with lots of local features and character. We loved spending hours on the deck soaking up the views and Kalk Bay vibe. It is in the perfect location in Kalk Bay - high enough to have amazing views of the mountain, harbour and ocean, and low enough to have easy access via stone steps to the wonderful shops, restaurants and bakeries in the village. We loved our walks along the seaside and our swims in the refreshing tidal pools, all within easy walk of this cottage. The hospitality from Greg, and Jane, was so warm and welcoming with lots of special touches to help us enjoy our weekend. This is a 10/10 experience and a stay that I highly recommend. This is going to become one of my favourite getaways!
