Family-friendly vacation rentals in Forte dei Marmi

We searched for months for the perfect place for our family of 5 to spend 9 days in Tuscany- and we found it! This house is located a nice distance from Lucca, Cinque Terra, Pisa and Florence. However- the house and grounds were so beautiful that we were always torn about staying home or going exploring. We spent mornings at the pool and evenings adventuring. Andrea was a warm and kind host, always helpful. We had plenty of room for two adults and three young kids. We are beyond grateful to have gotten to spend time in this special place. The photos don’t do it justice. Do not hesitate to book this! Really such a special place. Thank you, Andrea and family.

As a family of 4, we had a perfect stay at La Lucertola. Luisa and Colin were friendly, attentive and helpful from the minute we arrived to when we left. They were available on the phone throughout, if needed. The music studio was an incredible addition - we felt very lucky to have access to it throughout our stay. The accommodation is located up a narrow track, but this meant we had access to stunning views and wildlife all around. Although the pool was cold, due to the time of year we visited, it didn’t stop us using it a couple of times. The pool is perfectly located - overlooking Pisa. There was plenty of seating around the pool and, although other families were staying in the house next door, it didn’t once feel like we couldn’t use any of the facilities. Other great facilities worth mentioning - the pizza oven is such an experience - to make pizzas overlooking the tower of Pisa, in Italy, was incredible. We also had all the cleaning items and linen we needed too. Grazie.

A lovely stay in a beautiful location. The use of the pool was a huge bonus. Eugenia was responsive and friendly. We were able to explore Lucca, Pisa, Monticante Terme and head to the CavallinoMatto theme park within our short stay - car essential.

Carlo and Elena made sure that we felt at home right away. The welcome was the best you could ask for. The place is beautiful and clean and very comfy. They gave us a lot of tips for the area. And surprised us multiple times with delicious treats. We will be back for sure.

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

We had a very relaxing few days staying with Lucy and her family, and their dog Amber. They were really friendly and welcoming, and always ready to answer any queries we had. The pool area was lovely, and extremely peaceful. The accommodation was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The village is small with a butchers and bakers, a couple of restaurants and a bar. We did a lovely circular walk from the property through the woods to the nearby hill top village, Castel Vecchio. There’s nothing in the village but it’s very pretty and the views are great. You need a car to get to the supermarket and Lucca is a very easy 20 minute drive away. We had a super time and thank you Lucy for your generous hospitality.

We loved the AirB&B, Raphael responded promptly to all our questions, and Laura, the manager was GREAT upon our arrival, and even when we contacted her, she was always VERY PLEASANT and genuinely helpful.

Was a great place to stay and relax after 3 hectic weeks of travelling around the UK and Naples and Sorrento. Close to the beach and supermarket. Lovely quiet area and flat for walking around. Bus stop also close by for Pisa.

We had such an amazing time in La Spezia staying at Daniela and Fabio's place. It's so easy to walk to from the station which makes getting to the magical Cinque Terre area a breeze! Daniela greeted us at the door and filled us in on all the best places to visit and eat. She's such a delight and so accommodating and helpful. The flat itself was perfect and even larger than it appeared in the pictures. And so clean and pretty. It really was the perfect spot to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary! Thankyou so much!

A quiet place in a busy environment. Please book this if you are going to visit Lucca

Angela is incredibly warm and welcoming. The tiny house offers a cozy stay with all the essentials, surrounded by lush greenery. A wonderful experience—highly recommended!

I stayed at this property and I can say that it was a really nice experience. The accommodation is located in a quiet area, well organized, very nice inside and really cozy. It immediately feels like you're at home. A big thank you also to the host, who was kind and always available, ready to help and provide all the necessary information. Our stay at Teresa’s place was exceptional. The apartment is in a great location for walking to the beach, to shops, to restaurants, and parks, etc. Parking on the premises is a great boon. Also it is an ideal base for exploring Tuscany. The apartment is large, bright and well maintained. We felt very much at home here. Teresa and her husband are delightful, helpful, friendly and responsive hosts. We recommend this Airbnb most highly and hope to return.

Wonderful apartment in a fabulous location in the very heart of Lucca. The apartment was very well equipped and homely. We loved sitting together around the table in the kitchen dinner area, enjoying the views over the rooftops and listening to the early morning bird song. Lucca is a magical place with a relaxed and welcoming feel. Thank you for a great stay.

The apartment is perfect. Next to the pedestrian center and also the train station, which makes it much easier to visit the flights of the 5 lands by train. The apartment is super clean, well renovated and very functional. The host is nice, super responsive and very solution oriented. I highly recommend it!

We loved staying at Max’s apartment and it was everything we had hoped for. The location was perfect for us, with a short 10mins walk and you were inside the wall and a 20 or so mins walk to the train station. Being able to park for free outside the apartment was a real bonus. The apartment felt really homely and light and it had all we needed. Ashim, Max’s friend, was super helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. A trip to Cinque Terra is a must - we parked by the train station in La Spezia and got the day pass on the train from there. Osteria Miranda is a great restaurant - 20mins walk - with a superb tasting menu and wonderful service. We took part in the Lucchesina, a 10k run/walk around Lucca, and it was a great way to experience the town. We’ll be back to lovely Lucca and Max’s apartment for sure! Thank you 🙏

Very nice place with everything you need for a successful vacation. The kitchen and especially outdoor kitchen were well equipped to easily cook nice dinners for a bigger group. The pool was very nice. The house was clean and the bathrooms looked completely renovated. The best part was the hospitality of the owners. Very welcoming people that know the answer to all your questions about the area. Would recommend!

Silvia is a very welcoming and proactive host. She doesn't hesitate to recommend nearby activities and restaurants. Her place is very nice and the setting is very beautiful! I would recommend it!

Silvia was very kind and very helpful in providing information and making us feel at home. The house is huge and there were only five of us with everything we needed. We would definitely consider this experience for an upcoming trip to Viareggio.

Very nice property close to everything but far enough to have a quiet stay. Nice view, garden and pool. Monica made us dessert which was a plus.
