Welcome to Tjeltveit Fjordferie! Newly renovated apartment in the garage loft with a great view of Ombofjorden, and with good hiking opportunities in the nearby area. Perfect stop for those of you who are going on a trip to Preikestolen and Trolltunga. There is a private kitchen and bathroom in the apartment, and it is also possible to borrow a travel bed for children. In the bathroom there is a washing machine and the drying rack is in one of the closets. There are duvets and pillows, bed linen and towels in the apartment that are included in the price.

Nostalgic and cozy living room with unique location

The historic house shows the year 1773 painted on the walls. The house was originally in the village's cluster and was bombed during World War II. When the farm building was constructed, the remains of the house were set up as a living room next to the barn and today it appears as an intimate and cozy little house with a lot of history and soul. All amenities are, of course, completely modern. The home in the middle of the valley, down towards the fjord and innermost in Høgsfjorden, gives an unforgettable holiday in this old living room.

You just need to walk straight out the front door to start directly into marked hiking trails. The park chair is located about 15 minutes drive away. Jørpeland Sentrum is about 10 minutes drive away.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

You will have a feeling of being “at sea”, once you enter the apartment. The second bedroom has family bunk with room for two downstairs and one person upstairs.

Gode solforhold rundt hytte fra morning til kvelds om sommeren. Slapp av med venner og familie i dette fantastiske ferie hjemmet.

Slapp av på idylliske Idse. Utsikten her er magisk. Å avslutte dagen på terassen med fyr i bålpannen og å sitte i jacuzzien med utsikt utover fjorden er virkelig herlig. Hytta er moderne og bra utstyrt. God plass til 7 gjester. Kort vei til Preikestolen, Lysefjorden og Stavanger. The cabin is located a bit by itself on the edge of a farm, beautifully situated on the slope down towards the idyllic Riskedalsvatnet. From the dining table or the terrace there is a view of the water. The cottage was built in the late 1980s, but has been completely refurbished with modern color choices in 2020. You will find everything you need in this cabin.
