Adding to the atmosphere was the wildlife. Deer wandered gracefully, raccoons snuffled, owls called in the night, and even the distant echoes of coyotes could be heard. The gentle murmur of the river added to the serenity, creating a soothing backdrop for reflection and rest. I even saw my first firefly of the season! This hideaway is ideal for disconnecting from the outside world and simply embracing the moment. Chris is an exceptional host who is attentive, patient, and always quick to provide thoughtful responses. His hospitality enhances the experience, making every visitor feel truly welcomed. This was our third stay here, we stayed here on our wedding night because it’s our favorite place in the area - it’s cozy, clean, comfortable - and not far from BakeLab which has the best croissants and coffee ever! I’m sure we will be back for our anniversaries in the future!

Lisa was very professional. Quick to respond to messages and was willing to answer any questions we had. Lisa met us at the house at check in to show us around so we knew where everything was. We over what all we needed to do for check out. Which was simply and easy! The home Lisa has is just simply beautiful and peaceful, and located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood.
