We had a wonderful stay! The home is beautiful and has everything you could need. Elegant, while also family friendly. Our family travelled with kids aged 2-14 and everyone found plenty to enjoy! We especially loved playing ping pong downstairs, the playhouse outside for the little kiddos, along with scooters and a wide variety of family games to enjoy inside. The use of the owners’ golf carts was such a nice perk! Katie was so kind to work with, accommodating, and quick to respond to any questions. We roasted s’mores every night at the fire pit right off the front porch. We enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen as well as outdoor grill. Would absolutely recommend and go back!

The house was exactly what we expected but with more room than expected! The reviews of the lake give no weight to how beautiful it was in person. With also, the sandy beach and distance of walking out into it! Lovely area with hardly any noise. And easy to communicate without any restraint with host about little things or hiccups. All in all, best stay me and my company has had in years.

We had a little trouble getting in but Fran called and provided a way to get into the house. This is my 3rd stay here, and this is the only time had a slight hiccup that was resolved easily and quickly. The house is always well stocked, clean, and peaceful. My dogs enjoyed the backyard deck to sit on and watch the world go by. The lake is an easy drive away and lovely to drive around anytime you venture into town. I would recommend this Host and residents for anyone for a weekend getaway.

I did have just a little trouble finding the house on the map app using the Lakeaire Dr address. And we did have the AC freeze up on us but Kendra responded within a short time. Wonderful place to stay. Roomy, clean, campsite, large patio to sit and visit, wifi, 3 tv’s, and more. You will like this one!

James was an excellent host—responsive, accommodating, and flexible with both check-in and check-out times. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at his property.

Wow!! An easy drive from Dallas,TX We parked right in front of the cottage which made it easy to carry in all of our items. As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed with the most amazing fragrance! So clean and fresh!! The cottage was so clean and my 8 year old was thrilled to find the bunk beds and wanted it to be bed time. Over the next few days we enjoyed all that Carlton Landing has to offer. We also enjoyed the cottages heated pool and hot tub. We are already planning our next trip. Highly recommend. My son said on a scale of 1-10 it was an infinity.

Jenna is an excellent host who is very quick to respond. The golf cart was being repaired but Jenna gave us plenty of notice so we were still able to rent one. She also allowed us to check in early and out late which added to our overall experience. The house is immaculate. I totally respect the “no shoes” rule because the floors are SO CLEAN! Every abnb I’ve stayed at has had dirty, sock-ruining, slipper-trashing floors except here. Her house is close to one of the neighborhood pools (closed for the season) and walking distance to the tennis courts and trails. One of the pools and hot tub were open during our stay and the kids really enjoyed them both. You will need a golf cart to really get the most out of the town. Nothing is “far”- the kids walked everywhere (unsupervised!) - but the parents needed motorized transportation bc we’re old. We LOVED CL and are already planning a trip back for the summer.

It was a great little place for a weekend getaway. The owners were soo nice. We'll definitely keep this one in mind next time we come. The only complaint we had was the bathtub would fill up with water while we were taking a shower because it drains so slow.

What a fantastic house, we didn’t even realize it was 3 bedrooms! The location is fantastic, a short walk to the lake ( on either side of the house), walking distance to town and restaurants, large house, super comfortable / we loved the dining room! Would love to stay here again

Perfect location for what we needed. There were two of us, and we had plenty of space. Driveway was big enough to park our 21ft Bass boat without any issues. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt safe. Being close to HWY 69 & 150 was a huge plus for us, as we had easy access to various areas of the lake that we were trying to get to. The gas station outside of the neighborhood is a hidden gem! There is a bakery attached, and the food we had was phenomenal. There is a boat ramp located very close to the house, however, the lake was 4ft low at the time we visited. So the boat ramp was unusable. Obviously not a knock on the house, just an FYI to check water levels if you're reserving this house specifically for the proximity to that particular ramp. Overall, would absolutely stay here again.

wonderful lake house, exactly as described. my family came up for a peaceful labor day vacation. my two year old got to fish with his dad while the new baby and i relaxed and enjoyed the scenery on the balcony. We made lots of family memories and can not wait to come back to make more.

We had a wonderful visit to Carlton Landing staying at Charla’s place! The house was very well stocked with anything we needed, and all of the cabinets and lights were thoughtfully labeled. We appreciated small touches like small bags provided for cleaning up after your dog and plenty of K cups for coffee. We would stay here again!

We enjoyed the space for our group of 5. Large hangout spaces, large bedrooms with TVs and great bathrooms with lots of counter space. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes. This house was extremely close to the Tower pool and was very quiet and secluded.
