Rose is a great host. Enjoyed my visit, already booked my next stay. BTW: Her pumpkin bread is awesome! It's great with her coffee, she gets the coffeemaker setup for each morning. I just flip the switch and in a few minutes fresh coffee!

New place to stay

Vintage Bishop House in Downtown

Place was cozy, comfortable and well equipped. The swamp cooler kept the house temperature very comfortable throughout the day. Seven minute walk to a very well equipped gym. Five minute walk to the best restaurant in Bishop. If you’re going to have barbecue food, go to Schat’s. The other barbecue place in town is garbage. Sabrina Lake is a well stocked fishing hole. Beautiful 25 minute drive out there. One of the local Fishing and Hunting stores can get you set up. Took my son out there and we caught a couple yummy trouts for breakfast and of course, if rodeo is in town, that’s a must do! Jason is a good host and will do what you can to make your stay as enjoyable as he can.

An outdoor seating area features modern sofas surrounding a flame table, which emits a soft glow. The space is enhanced by string lights above and provides access to an indoor area through large glass doors.

The hotel receptionist could not find my reservation I booked through Airbnb. I tried calling and messaging the host through Airbnb, no answer. The receptionist called her manager and settled the booking in 10 minutes. Great place and stay. I would book again, however I over paid $90 for my stay. I recommend booking through Hotel Cielo website.

Such a sweet stay at big pine. You feel like a local when you stay with Thomas and Suzie’s place! They made the trip memorable and sweet. Very comfortable room and spacious shared bathroom.
