I stayed here with my husband to celebrate my 30th birthday, looking for a peaceful escape from the chaos of Silicon Valley. I wanted a space that felt like home—quiet, cozy, and free from distractions—and this tiny home was exactly that. It’s deep in a rural area, surrounded by trees and beautiful mountain views, and it was the perfect place to unplug and spend intentional time together with minimal electronics. The kitchen was fully stocked, which we really appreciated—we cooked all our own meals and felt completely at ease. While it isn’t walkable to town, it’s conveniently located just 10–15 minutes from the restaurants in Oakhurst and about 15–20 minutes from Mariposa Grove. If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic getaway that feels both remote and accessible, I highly recommend this place. It was exactly what I needed—and I’d absolutely stay here again.

Jimmy was an amazing host along with Cowboy, his horse. It was a private location very suitable for a romantic getaway. We made all our meals there. The kitchen was well equipped. Jimmy always made himself available for questions or concerns as well as giving us space and privacy. Thanks Jimmy

I was lucky enough to be able to book this place relatively last minute due to a cancellation. The location is great, just outside of town otw to Yosemite! Excellent little gravel path for a jog a short drive down the road, so I was able to get out for lunch while working remote! Wonderful birds on the property and excellent star gazing! Highly recommend, if only for the wonderful screened porch! I’ll be checking if Martine’s place is available anytime I am in the area!

This was one of my favorite Airbnb stays! My little home away from home for 2 days. This place is remote, peaceful, clean, and so comfortable. The beds and linens were immaculate, thoughtful touches everywhere, and when I needed something Samantha was quick with a response and solution. We even got to meet and pet Boots the horse! 10/10 stay!
