Eco-renovated stone barn

ValerieRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully renovated barn just outside Galway! The space was charming, well-equipped, and full of character—exactly what you’d hope for in a countryside retreat. Lucy was an incredible host and even greeted us with freshly baked bread, which was such a thoughtful and delicious touch. One rainy evening, we curled up by the cozy fire which was a great way to end the day. It was the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. The location was ideal—peaceful and secluded, yet less than 20 minutes from the heart of Galway. We spent a day exploring the city, and another hiking in the Burren and the Aran Islands, both easily accessible from the property. This place truly felt like a hidden gem, and we’d return in a heartbeat

Pat mors cottage

StaceyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My favorite Airbnb on our Ireland trip! Our stay at Pat Mors Cottage was the perfect peaceful retreat in the countryside. The cottage is full of charm, cozy, and beautifully maintained, with stunning views right outside the door. William was a great host! We arrived pretty late but check-in was extremely easy and William even stopped by the next morning to make sure everything went smoothly for us. We loved getting visits from our neighbors (the sheep and cows 😊) and enjoyed taking the small hike up the hill in the backyard for an amazing view of the surrounding lakes and mountains. We can’t wait to return—this place is a true gem!

Knockbroughaun Restored Stone Farm Cottage

JuditRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Pat has given us the warmest welcome we have ever got at an airbnb. He is just a terrific host. The cottage is lovely, spacious and well-equipped. Great to have 2 bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. We loved the fire in the dining room and living room and enjoyed playing boardgames with the fire on, on a rainy day. Pat's dog, Lily and the neighbour dog, Hunter are both a delight. Connemara is a beautiful part of Ireland with beautiful scenery and wonderfully warm people. A week is not enough to see everything. We managed to get to the national park, Clifden, Roundstone and its beaches, Lennaun, the Killary fjord and the famine walk, as well as nearby Loch Corrib and the castle. Some of these destinations are about 1 hour away but you drive through beautiful scenery. Galway is only half an hour away and is a buzzing, vibrant city. All in all, we had a great time and would like to come back.

Woodrock Warm and welcoming 5 bedroom home Galway

We had such a lovely stay here! The location is lovely and the house is tucked away so feels very private. The beds were very comfortable me and the house was nicely laid out and well stocked. Aoife was very responsive and helpful and it was great to be met by a real person (Margaret) to let us in and show us around. All in all it was a fab weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to return again.

Darby's rest 1 bedroom apartment. Doolin Co. Clare

AlannaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Suzanne’s place was lovely. Peaceful with a beautiful view out the back window of the farmlands and the sea in the distance. Her place is about a 20 minute walk from the Cliffs of Moher Walking Trail which is stunning, and less than a 10 minute drive into Doolin for the ferries to the Aran Islands. A great location overall. I will say that this is a working farm and that comes with farm sounds (cows mooing) and faint farm smells. We found it lovely but I know that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Overall 10/10 would recommend!

Pinehurst Suite, Barna on Wild Atlantic Way

ErinRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Pinehurst Suite was a gem find! It was the perfect accommodations to begin our vacation in Ireland. I only wish we had more time to stay. Fiona is a sweet and thoughtful host, going above and beyond to provide all of the amenities you could ever need, and then some! The bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom are spotlessly clean. Don’t hesitate. If Pinehurst Suite is available for the dates you’ll be visiting Galway, book immediately and without hesitation!

Cheerful 4 Bedroom Cottage with Scenic Views

BrandonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Anne’s house was one of our very favorites! So warm and spacious, squeaky clean, well stocked with everything you could possibly need without being cluttered. The photos make the house look a little dark, it isn’t at all- it is light with a cozy feel and nice, comfortable furniture. We thought we could stay forever comfortably enjoying the amazing views. The house is very quiet even in a storm and although we loved seeing the sheep just outside we couldn’t hear them, so very peaceful. The beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water, good flushing toilets, everything was great. Anne made us feel right at home and so welcome. She was so thoughtful and kind, we couldn’t say enough. The walk toward Mount Gable was beautiful and a wonderful recommendation. We would gladly stay here again.

We had a great new years stay in Lizzie’s. The place was very clean and cosy and we made great use of the lovely open fire place. The setting is absolutely stunning with beautiful sea views out the back and gorgeous views from the bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked for a big group and plenty of seating areas and chairs for all. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a lovely countryside stay away from the madness!

Super nice private house with pure nature. The car is a must, but you can easily get to a full-day parking lot near the university and from there directly by bus to the city, so it's great. 😉 Super easy to plan with day trips to Connemara or the Cliffs of Moher. Karina's house is super clean and well maintained and really has it all. We felt very comfortable. ☺️
