Waterfront vacation rentals in County Galway

Loved the accomadation. House was in a quiet area. Good safe parking. We enjoy walking so found wooded and river side walks. Just relaxing inthe bedroom overlooking the Shannon with the sunshine was bliss. Would happily return. It was as in the middle of where we had relatives. We got the best of Family and time to chill. Thanks to Rusty and Ian who Sent us details and rang me quickly after I text a query.

The apartment was a great stay. The place was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect hosts, lovely accommodation, stunning views of coast, sunsets and sheep farms. Would highly recommend this stay. The apartment was well equipped, comfy beds, lovely big towels and well insulated. A short drive to the beach, Croagh Patrick, Westport and an hour from Connemara national park. A very special trip and lovely memories made!

Johnstons is great! Kinvarra is such a charming town and this place is a great spot for exploring it. Lily and Richard were very easy to chat with, and had lots of great local recommendations. The apartment is huge and filled with art and posters reflecting the history of the building. It also has easily one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve ever seen in an Airbnb. And of course Aunt Agnes.

A beautiful apartment in an even more beautiful location. Overlooking the bay of Clifden. We were lucky three days with sun. We sat on the outdoor terrace in April until the end of the afternoon. The surroundings are also very beautiful. Sky Road is right outside the door and the wild atlantic route to Roundstone is also quite nice. As a way back, we drove a piece of the R341 and the L1105. Connomera at its best! We obviously visited Kyllemore abey and took a boat trip on the Killary fjord. Everything within an hour from Clifden.

The location was perfect for us to walk where we wanted! We appreciated the recommendations and the specific instructions to check in. The apartment was peaceful and spacious.

The place was fantastic and exactly what my wife and I needed after driving through the country side for a few days. It’s in a perfect location to walk to the city center and Quay Street for food and drinks. The balcony was perfect for watching the ships come and go and for a little bit of a view when winding down. Would recommend to anyone needing a comfy place to stay a few days in Galway.

Roxy was a fanatsic host and the apartment was in the perfect location to explore Connemara or just chill in beautiful Clifden. Would definitely recommend a stay!

We really enjoyed the location and being able to walk to the beach as well as coffee shops/restaurants. The place was lovely and nice inside. Our internet wasn't working and wasn't able to be fixed in time for us before we left. All in all a great spot and would stay again.

A beautiful home away from home in a stunning location. The house is well appointed and very comfortable. Mark made our check in very straight forward and we felt at home straight away. We loved walking to the beach to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and take in the view. Letterfrack is only a few minutes away and has two lovely restaurants and an excellent general shop. I would highly recommend and would love to stay again.

We loved staying in The Bakery. The Photos don’t do it justice. Spacious and pristine. Maeve was very quick to respond to any queries we had. She had also left Lindor chocolates, biscuits and fresh flowers for us which was just lovely. Roundstone is so picturesque, with a couple of lovely pubs and the walk on the nearby beaches on Christmas Day morning was just stunning. Would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely place and wonderful hosts! Beautiful setting and was the perfect place for a family vacation. Bernie and Val were super responsive hosts and were great with local recommendations! 100% would and hope to stay again!

We absolutely loved being able to call this place home during our visit to Ireland. Sheila and Redmond were very responsive and friendly in making sure we had everything we needed and more. The location was beautiful and conveniently walkable to the pier, shops and pubs. Our girls especially loved the little playroom - perfect for our family trip!! We’ll definitely be back!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The cottage was stunning and picture perfect. Exactly what we needed for our first two nights in Ireland. The coffee, tea, water, fresh bread, butter, and beer was such a thoughtful surprise upon arrival. And Helen was so responsive to all of our questions about the area. We will be back!

We had a lovely stay beautiful setting by the river .The house was warm and cosy on arrival . Hugh was there to meet us with instructions on heating and Anne had left us beautiful homemade brown bread which went down very well with a cuppa after our long journey . It’s only a couple of minutes walking distance from the picturesque Cong village

What an incredible find - our hosts were so incredibly friendly and helpful! When we come back to Ireland we will make a point to stay with this wonderful family. We had a great experience.

Location, location, location! The space is a bit out dated but it was perfect for four adults in the heart of Galway. Fruit, milk, and juice on arrival was a lovely touch. Excellent communication, comfy beds, coffee, and great travel tips helped make our stay so nice.

We absolutely loved this spot for our time in Galway. Easy parking (if the building lot is full you can park for free across the street) and a playground right across the street. Super family friendly place and had all we needed. The fridge is smaller but was sufficient for our 4 night stay. If you would be doing lots of cooking at home, it might be a little cramped. We mostly drove into the city, but you could easily walk it as well. Absolutely can recommend this spot!

The Lane's condo was beautiful, and exactly as the pictures show. It was perfect for our family to use while in Salt Hill and Galway. The Lane was responsive when we had questions about features of the home, and very easy to communicate with.
