Lovely place in Kinsale! It could not be closer to everything. The layout is great and Hilda has provided everything you need and more. The beds are comfortable, WiFi is great, easy check-in, parking nearby. It's also very close to the best restaurant in Kinsale, Saint Francis Provisions!

Ard to MuirĂ-Durrus-Apartment

DaveRating, 5 stars1 day ago
The apartment is in a spacious, beautiful, peaceful rural setting including a herb and lettuce garden that we were free to use (spring-summer has its advantages!). Pristine apartment (warm and comfortable with good kitchen and bathroom facilities); great location for exploring the south-west peninsulars of Mizen, Sheep's Head and Beara. Walkable local village. Friendly, responsive host who lives on site. A perfect AirBnB stay. Thank you Stefan.

Modern Waterfront One bed apartment

JONATHANRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Niall’s apartment and only wish we had booked for longer as the apartment was lovely and set in a great location on the river estuary with the peaceful sound of the water lapping outside with the balcony door open. Niall was a great host, responsive throughout the run-up to our stay and took the time and effort to show us around when we arrived. We were based on public transport which wasn’t a problem as there are two bus routes to and from Cork city centre which stop practically right outside Niall’s place. We loved the place and general area and will certainly consider a return visit 😊.

Large house close to town

CarolynRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at Maureen’s home for over two weeks. She was so kind & met us there to orient us to her home. She checked in a couple times via email while we were there to make sure we were doing well. We rate it 5 stars, six if we could. Her home was lovingly cared for. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything in it we have at our own home, with lots of dishes and utensils and countertop appliances. The bathrooms were fully stocked, too. We felt spoiled! Also very quiet - There was essentially no traffic at night & no neighborhood noise. The location was perfect with a two block walk to a great grocery store, and three blocks to the nearest restaurant, six blocks to the nearest pub. We would walk into town at night for dinner which would take between 20-30 minutes partly along a safe river walkway. Access to roads leading out of Tralee for road trips was merely blocks away. We enjoyed our stay in Tralee & couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. THANK YOU Maureen!!

This is a two bedroom modern child friendly house

BillRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Patricia and her husband Michael greeted us upon our arrival and Michael helped me take in the luggage. They advised us on the ins and outs of the place and the area. The unit is a mile walk into town down a hill and the bedrooms are upstairs, so it might be an issue for people with mobility issues, but it was no issue for us. Highly recommended.

Pebble beach cottage

BarryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely place. Makes you feel immersed in the local culture. Quite. Beds and linens were comfy. Like Snow White, I tried all the beds until I found the one that was “just right” then the family picked theirs. The location is OUTSTANDING by being equal distance between Killarney and Dingle. Local pub (4km W) is a great place for a quick meal. Newer washer and dryer which was a nice touch being there day 6&7 of our trip.

The Old Milking Stall, Baltimore / Skibbereen

Roland DawnRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Caring for others is a priority for Tim and Barbara and we felt so comfortable in their presence and in their warm home. Fires burning on our arrival and the attention to detail to meet your needs was very welcome and enjoyable. We felt cocooned for 4 days and even the change of weather could not daunt us. This is a place to relax and be pampered. We can’t thank you both enough for making our stay so special. This is a place you can recommend unreservedly and we do.

This cottage and its location were truly idyllic, with a beautiful yard, friendly animals, and great scenery. The beds were comfortable, amenities (kitchen, laundry, bath) worked very well and were easy to use, and Internet access was great. Best of all, Siobhan and Barry were available to visit and answer questions, and were wonderful hosts, wonderful people all around. We highly recommend!

Cabin, Wood stove, Covered balcony, in the trees

SallyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had such a lovely 2 night stay, beautiful location overlooking the water, with a super outside space to utilise if the weather is kind! Very cosy, extremely well equipped and really comfy bed, nice powerful shower too. Cabin smelt lovely on arrival, like a spa! Really kind to put milk, bread, butter, tea, coffee etc to get us started. Some lovely places nearby to explore, especially enjoyed Kinsale and Cobh. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to stay here, and much more preferable to us than staying in the city. Siobhan & Steve lovely hosts, who had also provided a comprehensive guide to the local area. Thank you so much 😊

Cosy apartment in a farm house

AshleyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Virginja was a wonderful host who has thought of absolutely everything you could possibly want or need when staying in her lovely cottage. Every detail was thoughtful and went above and beyond the traditional Airbnb experience. Her cottage which is attached to her home is a little off the beaten path but was a great central area for us when day tripping to Killarney, Cork etc
You cannot beat the amazing views of the hillsides surrounding her home. Again, I cannot emphasize enough all the effort she has put into making our stay comfortable and abundant. I highly recommend her cottage when travelling in the area.

Fenit is in a beautiful part of the country and Lighthouse Lodge really contributes to a wonderful holiday. We hope to return someday and will be recommending the apartment to all our friends and family.
