WOW - WHAT a gem. Casa Querencia was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip to Italy as a family of 4. Josie's place was not only reflective of the description and images but BETTER! The view of Lago di Bomba (swooon), the church bells, the views of the other towns and snow on the mountains. You could literally cozy up with wine and a book and never leave! Josie had everything we needed to dine in, while also SO MANY great recommendations for exploring - like Santa Maria, Lanciano, and Castello Roccascalegna. The town was super quiet given the winter month - but much as we expected, as we had JUST missed one of their holiday parties in the piazza. Casa Querencia would be PERFECT for someone wanting a relaxing, cozy, at-home feeling longer-term rental. We cannot wait to come back to stay - maybe for a few weeks next time :) Josie spares no details and was a PLEASURE to rent from. Thank you for making our experience such a joy!

We were so happy to have stumbled across Pretoro and the hunter’s shelter! We will miss Gaia the cat, and the respectful chickens that did not start clucking until 8am. Stefano was a very responsive host, and Paolo was very helpful at check-in. We followed all of Stefano’s recommendations for local food and activities, and very happy that we did! Will never forget the arrosticini down the street (to the left) or our walk through the town (to the right). Hope to visit again someday!

Great place, exactly as described in the listing. Tom is very nice, handy and available. Perfect to have a few days where you can unplug from the rest of the world and relax, alone or in company. One of the best B&Bs I've ever been to. We'll see you soon.

Anna Pia's home is a beautiful home, very clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed and more. The house is in a great location. Anna Pia is a wonderful host, very kind and easy to communicate with. The best host we ever had!! Should we need to stay in Atessa again we will definitely choose Anna Pia' s home again and again. This was a Home away from Home. Thank you Anna Pia!!!

Enrica’s property is very comfortable and user friendly. Besides a breathtaking view the town of Vasto offers a chic venue for shopping and dining. This penthouse condo has everything you need.

Perfect place for those who want to escape the chaos of cities, very nice and helpful owners. Located between the sea and mountains Highly recommended

First floor (second for Americans) of a two story house with a seperate entrance. Sorounded by olive trees and beautiful views of Abruzzo's hills and country side. Close to city of Vasto but it might be a good idea to rent a car as it is bit of a walk to the city centre.
