  This small cabin was built for my father during the pandemic so he could spend time out in the country. Situated just off the highway on 5 tranquil acres it too can now be your getaway.  Large enough for up to 3 people to stay, it has all the modern amenities you could hope for including, wi-fi and Roku. But in this beautiful setting tv may be the last thing on your mind. It is located very close to our neighbor so quietish is important. A new mattress was delivered on May 7, 2024 .

Just 20 minutes from Emporia, Hartford is a small town with a Library, bank, post office, coffee shop and gas station with pizza and sandwiches, most Saturday mornings (weather permitting) The Amish have baked goods available. And now we have a disc golf course in town! Like the outdoors this Cozy cabin is located just across the river from the Flint Hills National Wildlife refuge. Only a 2 min. walk to the Neosho River! Hunting, fishing, hiking, and bird watching all at your fingertips.

Koch Guesthouse

This spacious cabin sits on a small farm in Osage City, Kansas. It has all the amenities for a comfortable stay: loft bedroom with a queen bed, additional queen inflatable bed (17” high) downstairs and a twin bed downstairs. The cabin also has an open kitchen, bathroom with shower, wood-burning stove, surround-sound stereo and a TV (Netflix and YouTube available). You’ll have the entire place to yourselves. Be mindful that we often have cattle in the surrounding pasture.

Lovely lake house that sits next to federal hunting ground. This is the perfect place to hunt, fish, bird watch or just play on the lake. Boat dock and lake are a short 10 minute walk down the hill (about a football field walk, wear walking shoes). Kitchen is fully furnished and has an outdoor fire pit. Great home away from home.
