Beautiful place in a very beautiful place. Some of the strolls available, on your doorstep, are just spectacular. And provide a decent break from the more populated, touristy areas. Enzo was very helpful on a number of occasions, and very quick to provide this help. Overall, a wonderful experience.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views. It is conveniently close to the train station and the ferry, which offered regular services to various stunning destinations. We took quick trips to Bellagio and Menaggio, both a 10-minute ride. The views were a highlight, and we found ourselves enchanted by the private garden. Each evening, we would relax with a glass of fizz, taking in the lake. A perfect way to end our day. Inside the apartment, everything was thoughtfully designed. The shower was fantastic, and beds were comfortable. With wardrobes providing plenty of storage. Our host, Marco was wonderful. He greeted us upon arrival and showed us around, providing instructions and tips about the area. Their hospitality made our stay enjoyable. The trip was romantic, as my partner planned it all - he proposed on our stay! A perfect place to celebrate. The beautiful Gatekeepers Lodge is classically Italian. We loved all the footpaths from the house and big walks and cycles in spectacular nearby hills. There is easy access to local cities by train - we went to Verona, Trento, Padova and Vicenza. Lake Garda is easily accessible, Salo and Bardolino were highlights. Every night at 7.30 the bells of the local church play a magical little tune. We listened while having a glass of wine in the vineyard whenever possible. We bought great vegetables in local markets - local restaurants are not very good for vegetarians. We stayed for 4 weeks and the time flew. Thank you very much Ludovico.

Real 2 minutes ' walk to downtown . near a pub , a tobacco, a bar, and a Super , that is, everything. very quiet area even if close to the historic center. easily reachable by means. Great place for a touch and escape in the city for 1-2 people. In the end, very kind Host.

If we could we would buy the place! The stay and the view are simply amazing. The communication with Gabriele and his team was smooth, easy and he was quick to respond to our questions and requests. The bathroom was comfortable, just as the bed. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own italian dishes, but otherwise there are good (but not cheap) restaurants in the neighboorhoud. The local bakeries and coffee shops are a must for the real Italian experience. But the real reason you book this magical spot is the view on the local and the opportunity to let your worries carry off with the tides of the lake. The sunset is beautiful and the water is nice. We hope to return quickly.

I don't know what to say.... The whole thing was perfect. Entering through the gate with the car and seeing our beautiful little yard, surrounded by a jasmine hedge and full of flowers shaded by olive trees right on the lakefront was amazing. In the apartment, the windows that looked right out onto the lake made it feel like there was a living painting... with sound when we left the window open. I would like to address the low ceilings in bedroom and bathroom. It is true, they are low and we are tall so we did have to duck a bit at the head of the bed and in the toilet area but it was COMPLETELY fine. The kitchen was quite well equipped and we made a bunch of lovely meals there. It was a beautiful walk along a sidewalk but then mostly along the beautiful lakefront promenade into town and we walked a few times a day with no difficulty to the ferry, the grocery store, the lungolago. Best of all was Giampaolo's mom who was AMAZING as was her strudel. A beautiful lady!!!! Perfect!

Flavia met us personally and showed us around, recommended a restaurant close by and the beach on the lake a short walk from the property. she also said we could contact her directly if we needed anything and let us know which waste items to put out on the appropriate days for collection which was very helpful. Flavia was very friendly, communicative and helpful

We were a big family of 10, who had a great time at Velentina's house. For us (8 adults and 2 children), it was great: enough space in the house for all of us with two kitchens and three baths, great location at Lake Garda and it's in a very quiet area, which is very nice. Whenever we had a question, the host responded quickly and friendly. Valentina had many great recommendations for our trip to Italy. We can recommend this house, and would like to come back to the San Felice/ Saló area.
