We call our place Casita Pacifica (Peaceful Little House) as this suite is a mellow and relaxing retreat, yet in a San Diego suburb only 10-20 minutes from everything. Sadly, we no longer host peacocks, but our space is decorated in memory of their majestic energy. Our standards are high when we travel, so we created a suite that we'd love to stay in ourselves: stocked with goodies, things to do, recommendations, privacy, comfort & above all - cleanliness. Chula Vista is a great place to stay when visiting San Diego. It’s perfect for a couple, a couple of friends or traveling on your own. Conveniently located close to highway 805. Twenty minutes to the famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Sea World and the Convention center. Chula Vista Third Avenue breweries and restaurants are nearby as well as the outdoor North Island Amphitheater and Coronado beach. The San Diego International airport is about 25 minutes away.

The room has a private entrance. It's ideally located in a residential area of Ocean Beach. 5 blocks to the beach, OB pier, and 2 blocks to village life, shops & restaurants. It has a queen bed, a small private bathroom with a shower, a fridge, TV, Wifi, microwave, etc. Guests will love the location and privacy! Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc. are available for your enjoyment. Enjoy the great ocean view from the backyard.

This private guest suite is on the first floor/basement of our historic home, which we’ve been restoring. It has a private entrance and all the amenities of an apartment. Recently renovated, it feels fresh and modern. The freeway is easily accessible, and downtown is about 15 minutes away. Occasionally, landscaping projects are underway, but we plan around guests or notify you in advance.
