Claudio was an excellent host. He made every effort to make us feel at home during our stay. The view was incredible from the apartment. The bed was also comfortable. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen was very functional. As others have noted, the Airbnb is up on the hillside approximately a five minute drive from Varenna. I think it would be best to reach the space by car. I also think it would be very physically taxing to walk down and back to town, although we did not try. We had no issues driving into town.

Carla’s place so so cute and cozy and had the best views. We felt right at home. She had super helpful instruction on check-in and listed several restaurants she recommended. We really liked Taverna Malanotte in Bellano. Also, the spa was great and was a highlight of our trip!

Our stay at Massimo’s was short but sweet! Although bijoux, the apartment is one of the best appointed airbnbs we have ever stayed in. The little touches like teas, coffee, croissants, toasts etc were very appreciated. We only stayed one night so didn’t have time to take advantage of the bikes to explore the area so hope to do that next time. We have a dog and there was a lovely walk straight from the apartment along the river and through the woods. Massimo is a very proactive, helpful and friendly host. He recommended several restaurants to us and the local pizzeria, Santa Lucia, was perfect with very delicious pizzas and friendly staff. I can thoroughly recommend Massimo’s place 😁

What a wonderful place to stay in Varenna! Giorgio’s son Alberto was very available for us. He picked us up from the train station even though our planned arrival was delayed. He was incredibly kind and welcoming. We never would have found the apartment without him! But what an amazing location and set up! The view from the apartment is breathtaking. Varenna is cute and charming but gets busy so it was so nice to have the apartment to still have access to the lakefront and great people watching. The apartment has everything you could need. It’s incredibly safe with a King size bed, storage and great water pressure! And the drinking water from the tap is some of best water I’ve had! Thank you for a great holiday in the lake como area.

Amazing airbnb!! truly spectacular — the photos do not do it justice. Great location in Lierna. It was beautiful and peaceful without flocks of tourists. Walking distance to anything you need. You do have to pay attention to train schedules if you want to visit other towns, but the trains are easy to navigate. Excellent quiet location to come home to after a day out. Nice quiet beach areas with gelato shops. Would definitely stay here again!

We were guests at Adamo's chalet for just a few days but it was an unforgettable experience. The house is well maintained both inside and out, with all the comforts and well equipped. Even Fara, our furry baby, immediately settled in and especially enjoyed the outdoor area that surrounds the entire house. Marco was always available and also provided us with valid directions regarding the various routes to take in the area. We also had the pleasure of meeting Adam, who liked our salads. We'll be happy to come back.

The hosts were wonderful & responsive - could not ask for better! The home was clean and well-appointed. Just as described! The enclosed patio was a PLUS. Location was perfect; 2 1/2 easy, walkable blocks to the Porto Romana metro station, 1 block from PAM (local, well-stocked grocery store) and MANY restaurants & cafes within 2-3 blocks. For a unique restaurant try VENUCCI just down the street. Excellent wine menu and pizza. Ask for Tonya - she’s a wonderful person and a nice host! Enjoy!

Amazing stay. My first Airbnb experience and Marco made it perfect. Easy check in, great location, clean, tidy and decorated to a really high spec. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

We had a wonderful week at Carmen's house. The location in Spurano/Ossuccio was perfect because it was quiet yet within easy walking distance of local bars and restaurants. The Greenway provides good walks around the area, including accees to the chapels of the Sacri Monte. The sports bar in Ossuccio was great value for money and we also ate at the lido in Sala Comacina. From there you can also get the boat to the Isola (very peaceful - we had the whole island to ourselves) and you can find Amalia Ostinelli's grocery store for all your essentials. The kitchen diner is superbly equipped and stays cool even on the hotest days. The bed is really comfortable and the whole house is beautifully presented... old and quirky but with all the modern comforts you would expect. On top of that you're literally a few steps from Lake Como. We loved the spa, especially the jacuzzi. All in all we loved it. We were sad to leave and could have happily stayed another week. We hope to return one day.

The perfect Getaway. Beautiful Nature , perfect for biking and a fully equipped house that is tailored for 8 adults. Two rooms have en-suite bathrooms. Andy and Sabine are the definition of Superhosts. We will be back.

Maria's place is the best! it is very well managed and extremely organized. Location is absolutely perfect with the metro and bus stops just outside the building. You will be spoilt for choices of restaurants, shops and supermarkets. The place also has very good security in place. i felt very safe here. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again if I go back to Milan.

Elena and her husband are wonderful host. We had a fantastic time in this paradise. The views will make you stay longer. Elena was very kind and provided us with very helpful information. It was the best decision to stay in Menaggio since we were looking for a quiet and peaceful place overlooking the lake. I will recommend you to stay in their place 1000% Check in and check out was very easy . Helpful tip: it’s better to have a car if you stay here. We went to many places at our own pace. Thanks Elena for allowing us to have a great and unforgettable time!

very nice accommodation. After a busy day in the city center, we came to rest. The apartment is stylish and comfortable. Very clean. The bathroom was spacious and plenty of towels provided. The instructions to get inside were very clear and easy. Laura gave some nice addresses of restaurants nearby. Recommended is Southwest garage. Very nice restaurant. The neighborhood is multicultural and close to the metro. We didn't feel unsafe in the evening. In the apartment it was very quiet . The beds were comfortable. I definitely recommend this address for couples who want to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the city center. Thank you

We had a lovely stay at this charming Airbnb near Navigli in Milan. We were a group of five and found the space to be both spacious and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of room to relax. The interior had a cute, stylish touch, spacious and the highlight was definitely the beautiful outdoor courtyard — perfect for morning coffee or winding down in the evening. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the lively canals and great restaurants. Highly recommend! Thank you Silvia also for being a great host

Christina’s apartment was in a wonderful location at a key access point into Bergamo’s alta city. It was located in the centre of things whilst also able to be accessed by car with a little walk It was very spacious - you could easily live there👍 and Christina was very generous with facilities / products provided as well as special gifts on top👏🫶 Christina was extremely proactive and responsive in her communications - providing answers to anything we asked - and although not meeting us directly on checkin - which we normally prefer - provided everything we needed to know - including some great local restaurant recommendations Christina’s place (and Bergamo) is in the top 3 of all the places we stayed on our 2 month tour of france and italy and we would love to return to both in the future

The apartment was great — clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. It’s conveniently located close to the train station, which made getting around very easy. The host was very helpful, personally showed me the apartment, explained everything clearly, and responded quickly to messages. I had a very pleasant stay.
