Classic Country Retreat | Spacious Home on 1 Acre

We absolutely loved staying in Honeybrook. It was peaceful, comfortable and Joshua and the owner dealt quickly with any issues we had. The WiFi had an issue when we arrived and we were doing a course which we needed to use the internet for. It was handled within an hour of us asking and the owner of the house came over in person. Another time an opossum had died right by the porch and they took care of it within 15 minutes. The house is in Amish Country and being surrounded by Amish neighbors was something we really enjoyed.

Restoration Cottage

GenevieveRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a lovely place to stay. Beautiful area of PA: peaceful, quiet, delightful views, with interior comfy spots to birdwatch etc. Thoughtfully arranged rooms, lots of places to relax, in fact, the inside is bigger than the photos can show. Nice bathroom. Comfortable beds. Easy to check in and out. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and instantly responsive. If you are someone who needs total darkness to sleep in, do bring temporary or other blackout curtains or a face mask--the morning light really comes in. I brought suction blackout curtains for our toddler and that enabled her to sleep the full night and I needed a face mask for myself. Do be aware that the upstairs has tenants--they are kind, and will absolutely be quieter at any request. (They are quiet at night, but during the day there was loud music when our toddler needed to nap--but they were so kind and immediately turned it off when asked. Tenants also share the kitchen and entrance.)

LOVED this getaway. Perfect night away from the city spent by the fire looking out over the orchard. Will be back.

Glenmar Lodge at Vincent Forge

I booked this spot to attend my nieces local graduation and have a place for my partner and elderly mother to stay. This property very much over delivered! Upon check in I think I said: Wow! - no short of 5 times the pictures were great and accurate but truly nothing captures the true beauty of this place. We were able to cook all our meals in the gorgeous chefs kitchen. I even was able to have local family over for a brunch all of whom were taken back by the beauty of the property and grounds. Everything is meticulously cared for, stocked, and thought through. I appreciated the warm welcome and more - the stocked fridge (milk, eggs, coffee, bread), wine, and the ease of checking as well as the responsiveness of the hosts were amazing. I would absolutely stay here again and it’s an amazing find of a property!
