Waterfront vacation rentals in Cheshire West and Chester

Location was perfect for as it was close to Combermere Abbey. It was also 1 hour drive from Manchester Airport. We had hired the two flats which were beside each other and it suited both families; it was almost as if we had the whole marina to ourselves. The pub on the other side of the canal was great and there was lovely 5min walk down to a Garden Centre for Breakfast. The flow of long barges through the canal was lovely.

Host was approachable via text/Whats app. Clean accomodation, well equipped kitchen and very peaceful surroundings. Felt very safe as well. Highly recommend. Will certainly book again when I visit Chester next time.

Kris is excellent, he responded immediately and any inconvenience that I arise I try to fix it as soon as possible. The apartment is very comfortable, bright and with a nice view of the canal.

Absolute gem of a place to stay ... everything was amazing from start to finish. Our 5 nights went far too quickly so much more to explore! great location beautiful place and fantastic hosts!

Rachel and Shell’s place really is a little bolt hole. Peaceful and picturesque in their beautiful well kept garden. They were lovely helpful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend it for a couple of nights if you are exploring the local area.

The property was perfect for what we needed. We were spending Christmas with family in Chester and this cottage was just a 5 minute drive away. Moira had made the cottage very welcoming. As soon as we entered it felt like Christmas. The property was clean, spacious and cosy! It felt like a home away from home. Parking was great and the host was very contactable if needed. I would recommend and stay here again.

This was probably one of my favourite accommodations, the house is absolutely beautiful, in the most picturesque location, so peaceful & quiet, the garden is immaculate with a stunning view, and the miles of walks right from your doorstep is incredible… I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a super chilled getaway… Great host, great house!!!

Immaculate home. Quiet & Safe friendly and relaxing a beautiful walk, out the back gate, down the canal, to the city center. A few minutes walk to the park and ride bus which takes you directly into the city center for $2.50 round-trip ticket. It’s better to eat in the city. The kitchen was well equipped if you’d like to prepare your own meals The market and restaurants are about a 15 minute walk

Lovely home from home experience with private parking right in the heart of the city. We had a fabulous 3 nights in this well appointed very comfortable home.

Lovely and comfortable apartment, home from home, fully equipped with all amenities. The instructions provided by email were a big help, however, Suggestion: it would be invaluable to have a hard copy in the apartment too. It's only a short walk to the city, a map providing the quickest route from the apartment to the city especially for visitors not familiar with the area would also be useful.. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and making our trip to Chester so enjoyable.

This was probably the greatest ever accommodation I have been in AirBNB. Wonderful, calm location, great city, perfectly equipped beautiful apartment. I wish I could have spend some days here. Also Jonathan was a truly great host, very very helpful, supportive, quickly responsive, communicative and flexible.. He gave me many good suggestions to spend our time even better! I would come back here anytime. 10 out of 10 points.

Very nice apartment; comfortable, quiet and appears to be well maintained. For us, the provision of a parking space was crucial to our choice: especially in a town like Chester which has many narrow roads where parking can be problematic. Easy check-in due to the very good communications from the Host. Several (independent) fast food places and mini-supermarkets are within easy walking distance, so supplies were never an issue. Also within easy walking distance were the City Walls, and the other attractions that Chester has to offer. So, all in all, a successful trip for us.

Beautiful spacious bright apartment, feels like home) special thanks for the washing-drying machine, we washed our clothes, as we travel by car. The check-in instructions were clear and understandable. Thanks again for hosting us!

The communication was excellent from start to finish. The apartment was spotless and the additional touches such as coffee pods and Lindt chocolates, Prosecco and biscuits were a lovely touch. Would definitely be returning as the private parking and location are perfect for families and couples. Thank you again!

Beautiful home in a super convenient location. 5 min walk from the train station and very central to Chester town. James was very responsive and helpful, allowing us to park securely in the garage and check in very early. Great find
