Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cheshire West and Chester

Spacious house with lots of thoughtful touches. Lovely outdoor area. Well-equipped kitchen. We wanted to stay in Hoole to be near friends but also an easy walk into Chester high street, lots of restaurants, shopping etc. Nearby street parking was quite tricky/very tight spaces, but we did always get a spot. Coop across the street. House felt clean and well looked after, although bathroom could be updated. Stairs steep if that is a concern for you, but our kids were fine with them. Host seemed very responsive but we didn’t need him because the house has everything (books, iron, games, etc). Overall a great stay and I would happily book again.

A absolutely beautiful place there was 12 of us and was more than big enough for us , great hot tub and park for the kids was just so nice sitting outside looking at what we could never afford , the only downside nothing to do with the house but nothing round about just one pub but weather was glorious so the young ones where occupied, a beautiful place for s large family occasion highly recommend it xx

This place is absolutely fantastic! I only live round the corner and wanted a nice base for my parents to come and visit where they can have their own space. This property is stunning, really well appointed and immaculately clean. Neither myself or my parents have a single complaint, it’s a beautiful property in a great location that’s perfect for a UK break. Since my previous regular hosts sold up I’ve been struggling to find a decent Airbnb for when I visit my elderly mother on the Wirral. It seems at last I’ve found the ideal place. Clean, comfortable and all the basic necessities, plus a few nice touches. Host Barbara was attentive and responsive. I’ll be back.

Beautiful house with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Perfectly located in the picturesque town of Tarporley with its abundance of lovely restaurants, pubs and cafes. It’s our second stay and we will be back for a third!

Lovely and cosy place by the city walls of Chester. While it is very close to the river, you can't hear it. We stayed one night and had all we require for it, the place is well decorated and equipped. It is very close to the city centre, let's face it, it is part of it! The city walls path is on the door step. We had a great time in Chester.

A quality place and Sue provided everything and more. Would highly recommend. If you are looking for a stay in this area Sue’s place is hard to beat. Loved it.

as described already a perfect stay for those who seek to visit Chester and surrounding. apartment is just around heart of the chester. walkable to almost all heritage and market great stay and will stay and recommend in future. Had a great stay. Everything was exactly as described. Easy walk into the city centre. Especially nice if you cross the road and then walk along by the canal path. Great takeaway 2 minutes walk up the road and also near Tesco if you need anything. Accommodation was spotless and we found it very relaxing.

Cindy's place was absolutely perfect for us. It was convenient to everything we wanted to see in the area, was spotlessly clean and everything we could have needed was provided. A big positive feature is that the bed was very comfortable, which was welcome after a long day's exploring. Cindy was quick to respond to any messages, and was very helpful. We also both particularly appreciated the little, unexpected, treats supplied.

Absolutely fine, bigger than I expected, walking distance to centre of town, very quiet and had everything you would need. Easy to find and clear instructions on entry. I would definitely stay again. Good value especially on race days.

We had a nice stay at Jon's place. Jon is a proactive host and his instructions for check in were accurate. He checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. The bed was firm and I woke up refreshed. We didn't use the rain shower, but the regular nozzle was warm and had good pressure. The kitchen was the best part. I like to use Airbnb when traveling so I have the ability to make my own meals. It's important to have the basics and Jon's place had that, plus a little more.

Stayed for 5 days. It was a very cozy house. It was clean and tidy. There were shopping malls and restaurants nearby, which were within walking distance. The owner responded quickly and actively. I will stay here again next time. Thank you.

Great central location as described. Perfect for visiting family in the area. Clear instructions from the host ,easy to find and access. Chocolates, wine and doggie treats were a nice addition.

I live on an Island off the West Coast of Canada. It takes 2 days + to get to Chester UK. I knew communication was going to be spotty at best so I asked for check-in details prior to departure. They never came. I arrived at the apartment after 2 days of traveling unable to gain access. Because of sim card issues I could not 'phone for access details. Suggest you waive the 24 hour access check-in under certain circumstances.

This was probably the greatest ever accommodation I have been in AirBNB. Wonderful, calm location, great city, perfectly equipped beautiful apartment. I wish I could have spend some days here. Also Jonathan was a truly great host, very very helpful, supportive, quickly responsive, communicative and flexible.. He gave me many good suggestions to spend our time even better! I would come back here anytime. 10 out of 10 points.
