Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cheshire West and Chester

Great location for walking to Chester centre. Only 10 minute drive to Chester zoo. Supermarket round the corner. Beautiful house which met all our needs. House was easy to find and we could park outside. Very clean and comfortable. Great communication with Hannah who let us know the house was ready if we wanted to check in early. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Thankyou.

Spacious house with lots of thoughtful touches. Lovely outdoor area. Well-equipped kitchen. We wanted to stay in Hoole to be near friends but also an easy walk into Chester high street, lots of restaurants, shopping etc. Nearby street parking was quite tricky/very tight spaces, but we did always get a spot. Coop across the street. House felt clean and well looked after, although bathroom could be updated. Stairs steep if that is a concern for you, but our kids were fine with them. Host seemed very responsive but we didn’t need him because the house has everything (books, iron, games, etc). Overall a great stay and I would happily book again.

A lovely place to stay in a quiet area of Cheshire. Jane was incredibly helpful on check-in and I feel would have been equally so should we had required any assistance. My daughter loved it, as she had her own floor. The garden was great to run around in too.

A absolutely beautiful place there was 12 of us and was more than big enough for us , great hot tub and park for the kids was just so nice sitting outside looking at what we could never afford , the only downside nothing to do with the house but nothing round about just one pub but weather was glorious so the young ones where occupied, a beautiful place for s large family occasion highly recommend it xx

Lovely home from home. Loved the outside lighting in the evenings relaxing with a drink. The house was clean and spacious with an easy bus route into Chester, the bus stop is right outside the house. We had no reason to contact Wes as we did not have any issues at all. Unfortunately, we had to leave very early on our departure date as my Mum took very ill and we had a four hour drive home, but we will definitely rebook The Highfield if we come back to Chester.

We stayed as a group of 6 Fri-Sun to celebrate my daughter’s 21st Birthday. The house was amazing, we were blessed with amazing weather allowing us to enjoy the beautiful outside area . Henry was really helpful advising us of the best places locally to eat and they did not disappoint. A memorable stay was had by all and I would highly recommend the house.

We had a wonderful time at Emma's accomodation celebrating a hen do and catching up with friends we haven't seen for 10 years. It was ideal location, beautifully decorated, couldn't have been more perfect! thankyou!!

as described already a perfect stay for those who seek to visit Chester and surrounding. apartment is just around heart of the chester. walkable to almost all heritage and market great stay and will stay and recommend in future. Stephen and ShukTing always responsive. apartment was clean and tidy. great place to stay.

Fantastic location within easy walking distance to Delamere Forest. Great place to commute to stay at night and commute by car to Liverpool.

A fantastic apartment very clean and modern and very peaceful had everything you need for a short or long stay. The location is amazing just minutes walk to all the restaurants, bars, shops and local attractions Museums, River, Walks, Parks. This was our first visit to Chester and everything was amazing and we had the perfect place to stay would highly recommend

We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The location is great - the city centre is almost on the doorstep, but the apartment was very quiet. The whole place was absolutely spotless, very well equipped and comfortable. The parking space was a bonus, we didn't need the car at all. The tasty treats were a nice touch, but by the time we had chomped our way round the great coffee shops and restaurants in Chester we were a bit too full! There are so many place to explore and the cathedral is awe inspiring, well worth a visit. Mark and Helen have been great hosts, we would definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely fine, bigger than I expected, walking distance to centre of town, very quiet and had everything you would need. Easy to find and clear instructions on entry. I would definitely stay again. Good value especially on race days.

I had a great stay at this apartment, which is located in a beautiful and very central part of the city, full of history and charm. I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the space and the attention to detail throughout. Claire, the host, clearly put a lot of care into every aspect of the apartment. I would definitely return and recommend it to others.

Stayed for 5 days. It was a very cozy house. It was clean and tidy. There were shopping malls and restaurants nearby, which were within walking distance. The owner responded quickly and actively. I will stay here again next time. Thank you.

I live on an Island off the West Coast of Canada. It takes 2 days + to get to Chester UK. I knew communication was going to be spotty at best so I asked for check-in details prior to departure. They never came. I arrived at the apartment after 2 days of traveling unable to gain access. Because of sim card issues I could not 'phone for access details. Suggest you waive the 24 hour access check-in under certain circumstances.

This was probably the greatest ever accommodation I have been in AirBNB. Wonderful, calm location, great city, perfectly equipped beautiful apartment. I wish I could have spend some days here. Also Jonathan was a truly great host, very very helpful, supportive, quickly responsive, communicative and flexible.. He gave me many good suggestions to spend our time even better! I would come back here anytime. 10 out of 10 points.

A great Airbnb to stay in. Extremely centrally located in Chester city centre , you literally couldn’t be any closer to all the cafes, bars, restaurants and shops and Chester Race purse is literally a seven minute walk. It’s set back from the high street, on the Eastgate Rows so you don’t hear any noise from the streets below when you are inside. John was an excellent communicator and sent several messages prior to my stay with relevant information about the property, including check in details which were very well explained and it was easy to gain access. All of the necessary facilities were there including cups, glasses, plates etc as well as tea, coffee and even a bottle of wine! 🥂 Bed linen was clean and fresh and the bed was comfortable. The apartment was clean and tidy and is maintained to a good standard. I would thoroughly recommend this property and will be booking again myself.
