Home from home. Comfortable, clean and just perfect for my stay visiting my daughter and grandsons. Jeanette left me a welcome present which was much appreciated as it was a return visit. Very quiet area and perfect for walking around the village. Always an asset to be able to park your car off the road too. 5 star on everything. Can't wait to go back and Jeanette living next door is a huge bonus.

This is a beautiful little home nestled into the streets of Canterbury. We walked into town each evening, had fish and chips from the shop down the road one night and I loved hearing the church bells in the morning. Sainsbury's is just down the road so we grabbed some bits and made packed lunches using the hob. Everything we need to cook with was there. Very well kept, would highly recommend. Even though there was not a private parking area, parking wasn't an issue. After 4 it's free, so, after spending the day exploring Kent we found a space on the street adjacent with no issues. LOVE THIS PLACE.

The Granary was the perfect place for me to leave work and stresses behind for a couple of days by myself. The location is so quiet and peaceful, with wide countryside views, you can't help but feel lighter stepping through the door. Kate is a fantastic host, everything is of a high standard and spotlessly clean. From lovely linens to quality ground coffee, homemade granola and eggs fresh from her chickens for breakfast, which is an extra charge and well worth it! To my surprise, Kate had also left me a delicious homemade gooseberry and blackcurrant fool in the fridge. A great addition to the left-overs I had brought from home for dinner my first night. Canterbury is just a short drive away. Using the park and ride scheme was simple and much easier than navigating the car parks in town. If you are looking for somewhere to spend a relaxing and peaceful time by yourself or with someone special, I'd highly recommend The Granary!

great place to stay. every thing was just perfect. acommodation was lovely and very clean and tidy when we arrived . breakfast was a nice touch. location was perfect for eating and going out. tom was brilliant he made sure everything was OK for are stay and always there if you needed something. recommend for anyone who wants to stay in canterbury to stay here you will not get anywhere better . lovely view of river and park right opposite.
