Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Charente-Maritime

A very nice stay despite the bad weather. The living room is very nice for a group of 6 adults and 5 children. Special mention to the spacious and comfortable sofa and the arcade terminal that allowed for wild parties. On the other hand, even though we all got along very well, we would have liked a non-glass door to close the master suite upstairs, to ensure a little privacy to take a shower or go to the bathroom. 😊 But that's really the only very slight downside. The house is spacious and very well-equipped and the beach is only a few minutes' walk away. Franck is very responsive and check-in went smoothly. In short, a very pleasant weekend.

Stéphane and his wife are great hosts, they took great care of us, and what can I say about the house, the children simply forgot about screens and were able to enjoy the pool and tennis court and foosball and ping-pong and we enjoyed the jacuzzi😁. The place is very close to Royan, Palmyre and Bordeaux as well, so great for walks! Verdict: we'll be back!

We had a great time at Stéphane's place. The house is large, quiet and surrounded by greenery: perfect for a moment of rest. The kids loved the large garden, game room and heated pool! I would this property.

We had a lovely weekend at Yann's family home. The house is located in a quiet and peaceful environment, and close to the beach (not accessible to PRMs) which is relatively wild and uncrowded (at least during our stay at the end of April). The house is ideally located and allows easy access to the island. There were 8 of us (4 generations) but everyone was easily able to have their own space since there are 2 separate sleeping spaces and 4 bedrooms in total, the dining table is well suited for the number of people, the whole house is on one level which was appreciated by the older ones. We came with our dog, the garden is perfectly fenced and secure. Finally, upstream, Yann was very responsive when booking and provided us with a detailed guide for independent access to the house as well as a guide to shops and sites to visit.

As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Olga, who immediately put us at ease with her smile and kindness. She gave us valuable and unique tips on things to see, visit and experience on the island – authentic recommendations, off the beaten track! The apartment is perfectly equipped, there is absolutely nothing lacking. It feels good from the first minute, like home – or even better! As a bonus, a neighbor offered us fresh oysters: a delicious gift and an unforgettable moment. We recommend this place 1000%, both for the accommodation and for discovering this island! Beautiful stay in La Flotte. Stunning view of the sea, comfortable bedrooms, good showers and water temperature, fully equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend and would love to come again!

The apartment is very pleasant, beautifully decorated and very well-equipped. Indoor courtyard is a real plus. The neighborhood is quiet and the location is ideal for exploring the surroundings. The Île de Ré and the coast are easily accessible by bike. The city center of La Rochelle is nearby. Flexible check-in and checkout and everything was very well organized with John who is very responsive. Everything was perfect and we had a very pleasant stay.

Claire and her husband are extremely welcoming and available! The location is close to Ile de Ré, and easy to reach by car. Their young dog is very sociable and playful (we were with our dog and child under 2 years old). If your child sleeps in the same room as you, the room is also the room giving access to the front door (good to know in terms of organization)

The apartment was very good, clean and with everything you need for a few days of vacation as a couple. Jacqueline welcomed us very attentively and was ready to help us with whatever we needed. She is a very kind and cordial person. I recommend it without hesitation Thanks Jacqueline!!

Great communication from Noemie who was lovely, nice to hear about the history of the accommodation. It’s a cosy, good use of space and perfect for the one night stop over. The bed was super comfortable, making for a good nights sleep before travelling again.

We had a wonderful time in this cabin and in this timeless environment. It's a peaceful haven, made for recharging and meeting. There are a lot of amenities (barbecue, brazier) that make this experience unique. Big big + for the bedding which is crazy comfortable, just the feeling of sleeping on a little cloud. The many attentions were great. We'll be happy to go back, that's for sure!! See you soon!
