Vacation rentals with lake access in Carlton Colville

We loved our stay here. Beautifully decorated and squeaky clean. We were celebrating a birthday and Dax very kindly had left some balloons for us which was a lovely touch. Would definitely look at booking with Dax again in the future!

I would highly recommend Serhan's lodge, located in Cawston. The photos offer a great depiction of the place; it was spotless, it was well maintained, and all the finishing touches had been made. Varying from the attention to detail demonstrated in the folded edge of the kitchen roll to the bottle of prosecco and the accompanying prosecco bucket - which was perfect for the jacuzzi. Serhan and his team were also proactive in their responses and helped to ensure a comfortable stay. This place is truly a hidden gem nestled within the beauty of the Norfolk countryside. I will most definitely be visiting again.

A wonderful house for a celebration as the downstairs area is large and Lee has provided games and a jukebox for a great time. The only thing I would share with people is that the bedrooms share an open vault ceiling so, if like me, you shared with snoring and reading folk, you can hear all the noise and lights from the other rooms. Other than that, a completely gem of a house! Lovely fish and chips from “Brilliant” and even walked to Yarmouth and back along the beach! Thank you Lee for being such a great host too. Would come back - with earplugs or family members who don’t snore!

This is our second stay at this accommodation and will definitely return in future. A well stocked and equipped accommodation for a long or short stay. The beds and sofa’s are comfortable and the location on the Norfolk/Suffolk Broads is an incredible area to explore and visit.

Working in Norwich for the week and came across this place last min. Unbelievable space and great value for money. 8 lads and we all had loads of space. Everything you need in the kitchen, with loads of seating and TV. Huge living room with massive TV to relax in the evenings. Little chill out snug with TV and a piano. Importanty the showers and baths were a great size and with great pressure. 10 mins from the city centre, parking for three big work vans and load of extra space. Biggest garden I have ever seen! Will be back 100%

We had a fantastic city break at Ruth’s Airbnb with our dog. The place is just as lovely as the photos on the listing. Ruth was incredibly thoughtful, leaving us daily essentials like eggs and milk in the fridge, as well as a pack of dog treats for our doggie. The house is cozy, perfect for relaxing in the evenings with the electric blanket on the sofa while watching movie. The location is ideal, right across from the bus station and just a short distance from the city center. Highly recommend!

Just Beautiful, very cosy with lots of space, felt it was home from home. Fully equipped kitchen! Beds so comfortable. Felt very rural had a wonderful walk in the fields with our dog, was the break away from London we were looking for. Went into Framlingham with our dog and had the most lovely welcome at the pub, definitely worth going into the butchers!! Lovely local produce! Coffee and cake at the bakery and dogs are welcome in there. Came back to London refreshed and very content. Would definitely come back. Thank you Penny 🙏

Very peaceful stay at Reddisham Hall. within easy reach of Beccles, Bungay, Southwold. We took a boat out on the river, spent time at Southwold, and drove to see the seals at Horsey. Our 10 year old enjoyed use of the garden too

Thank you to Louis and Roy for creating Moat Island. We felt really lucky to stay. Magical place as if someone’s Imagination dreamt it up. When new guests arrived you could hear them making the amazed sounds we did. Excellent and social open kitchen, loved that. The tents are top quality, sturdy, warm, large and homely, dry as a bone. Bed so comfy. Private own patch of space. Around our tent was our own family fire pit and a table to eat at, a compost loo if we didn’t feel like heading to the very well made modern bathrooms on site. Kids liked the hammock and swing bench. The natural pool was incredible, could of sat on the deck all day looking at the scene, lovely to swim in. Peaceful, driveable to everything - we went to the Broads, Fritton Owl Sanctuary, the North Coast, Holt, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and into Norwich. Could just stay on the campsite all day though, plenty to do. I didn’t want to leave, will be back!

Great place to stay with beautiful views towards the meer. Glad the cafe closed at 5pm so evenings were more peaceful and relaxing

Great experience, we loved our stay. there are 5 bell tents and a couple of lodges within walking distance of each other. Each site is far enough away from each other to feel private but also close enough to have a bit of a community feel to it. The communal kitchen is more than equipped, we brought far too much with us "just in case"! Lewis was often around if needed and was very responsive with any queries. We would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay.

James' place in Stalham has everything you need for a short stay - a bit small for 2, but with lots of well thought out details. Everything was brand new and spotless. Very easy communicating with James who was responsive at all times, and even replaced the sofa bed when he realised there were 2 of us. Stalham makes a great base for exploring North Norfolk and the coast - a few minutes to Happisburgh and great beaches, and Stalham itself is on the Broads - a boat trip is a must

We were absolutely wow-ed when we walked into the apartment. It was spacious, spotlessly clean, with everything we needed and more, and the view was fabulous too. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage and power points, and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are very dark with the shutters closed, or a bit lighter with just the blinds down, so something to suit everyone. There is a choice of a bath (with shower over) or a walk in shower, so again, the best of both worlds. Linen and towels are of good quality. A welcome pack including snacks and bottle of wine was a very nice touch. The area is lovely, with cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance, and of course Oulten Broad itself with its numerous boats and wildlife, is a perfect place to relax and unwind. Matt and Michaela are friendly, helpful and communicative. We had a very nice stay and didn't want to leave.

Was perfect for us as our family live in the area and we had Canadian visitors coming to stay. Apartment was well stocked with towels, bedding, cleaning materials etc.. only slight negative was the bed in the main bedroom.. a little small 😃😃😃. However this did not spoil our stay in anyway

Lovely little cottage, right on the waters edge, well equipped amazing view of the river and nice and clean. We will be back.

The cottage is comfortable, warm, unique, and a true gem. The fireplace is fabulous; it quickly makes the room so warm. Lovely surroundings in both the front and back gardens. We visited Horsey Gap to see the seals and their cubs—it was wonderful to watch them. We had a festive lunch at the White Horse Inn pub, which was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The location is very private at a beautiful location right on the Broads . The accommodation had everything we needed for our stay it was very clean and tidy and was in easy walking distance to the town . We met Sue on our last day and she is very friendly and helpful . We really hope we will be able to return next year .

I had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. The space was even more spacious than described, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. The photos accurately reflect the beauty and comfort of the cottage, and it was sparkling clean and well-maintained. I felt right at home and appreciated the attention to detail throughout. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and spacious getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Betty’s Cottage, it was cosy and had everything we needed. I booked our swimming sessions before we arrived to make sure we got the times that worked for our children. They absolutely loved it! We enjoyed being able to explore the nearby sights with only a short drive.

Lovely comfortable accommodation with everything you need for a stay. Good shower and enjoyed the wood burner. Very peaceful area but with Aylsham not faraway and some good places to eat locally . Recommend the Plough at Marsham which has great choice if you have a gluten or dairy allergy or are vegan and they are also dog friendly 😊

The place was beautiful, perfect location and facilities for me & my family (including 4 & 9yr old). Host was very accommodating. The pool, play area (park) and x2 games rooms were all an added bonus for us all. I would absolutely recommend this place for either quiet breaks or fun family times.
