Very clean, and she provided snacks and water bottles, nice little touches that go a long way. Joelie was a very gracious host. The house was fine, just a logistical tip for the area: A number of the restaurants were closed from Sunday into the middle of the week. Also, we visited the Caverns on Monday. Really the only place to eat there is the Cactus Cafe and it was closed that day. If you're planning on having something to eat there, you might want to pack a lunch and eat at the picnic areas in the vicinity.

Great location right on the Pecos River. Very peaceful and serene. The sunrises and sunsets are a sight to see. There is also a deck on the riverbank where you can sit and fish. My go to place, if it’s available, from now on if I ever need to stay a few days in Carlsbad.
