Vacation rentals with a kayak in Canterbury

Sarah's place was perfect. We were staying for an event in Lyttelton and taking the ferry across was perfect. It was peaceful and had everything you could need. Lots of interesting books, art and so comfortable. I definitely recommend this place for a stay.

Absolutely amazing house! Perfect for families and friends to stay together! Unfortunately the lake is currently unable to be used due to Toxic levels of Algae . But that didn't stop us from using the lakeside Spa, and enjoying the stunning view!

Pip was very helpful especially as we had a late check in after a long day driving, the house is comfortable and had a well stoked kitchen with all the utensils and basic pantry needs (salt, pepper, oil etc) We had our own sleeping bags as the linen is an extra charge and cleaned ourselves before leaving. We used the kayaks and there were plenty of puzzles and games - our young kids learnt to play battleships here! Thanks very much pip

We had a wonderful stay at Ngaroma. Philippa was an accomodating, responsive, and attentive host, and made sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone looking to relax and disconnect. Thank you so much Philippa!

Friendly neighbour to help, accomodation was good, we thought the bunks room would be bigger, so a bit tight for 5 adults Location great. Very quiet.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning place! The home itself is like stepping back in time (but with all the mod cons you'd expect and more) and the garden is the most peaceful oasis with a babbling creek running 10m away. An easy 15min walk to the main street of town, and Maree met us on arrival to show us the place and how the sauna/spa worked and was super responsive and available for anything we needed (their home is right beside the cottage with the garden shared, but they were incredibly quiet and respectful of our space). The supplied breakfast bits were very appreciated too. Loved our stay and 100% would stay again!
