Cabin vacation rentals in Canterbury

Had a lovely, peaceful stay at Casey's cabin. The space is private and thoughtfully decorated with everything you could need for a wonderful stay. A perfect getaway for self care and pampering!

The cabin was very clean and well provisioned. Breakfast was very nice with a variety of cereals. The walk down to the beach was very nice and ended in gorgeous views. Nigel was friendly and helpful. It was a great stay!

My wife and I stayed in this lovely one bedroom, one bathroom cottage for four nights in February. The view is fantastic and the space was thoughtfully, and stylishly, designed with everything you could want in the cozy living quarters. It’s really nice to sit outside on the covered deck and watch the sun change on the hilly landscape. The fully equipped kitchen was great for making our meals. The outdoor tub was an unexpected treat for watching the stars in the evenings after some strenuous hiking in the beautiful mountains. Robyn was a thoughtful and attentive host and we’d gladly stay here again.

We had a great stay in this little hideaway location. We enjoyed watching the stars from the hot tub. We will be back!

Great location on the lake, walkable to the restaurants and shops in town and about a 45 min drive to Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park. Great cabin just above the camp/camper ground of the same property.

We had a spectacular time at the cottage and will remember our stay there for the rest of our lives! We stayed here so we could do the hooker valley track and the place was full of comforts and very considerate complementary items. We were more than comfortable here and loved watching the various animals roam around the cottage. At night we had a blast soaking in the outdoor tub as we stargazed the Mackenzie sky, and even got to see the parade of planets.

The location was beautiful and the cottage had everything we needed to feel at home. We enjoyed our nightly walks to the beach to watch the beautiful sunsets. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Mum & I had a fantastic stay at Kim & Shane's beautiful air bnb. Everything was exactly as described & so many extras we were blown away. Highly recommend staying here, the hot tub & fire pit outside we're unreal as well as the inside fire. Thank you so much for having us, greatly appreciated.

Absolutely loved my stay at Jillian's. The cottage was so beautiful and cozy with the fire going. Jillian really went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable and relaxing, with comfy bedding, freshly baked bread and plenty of fire wood for the fire. Thank you so much for hosting me, couldn't recommend a place more. Would love to come back and visit in the future.

Was a magical couple of days stay. Really is a special place and is well set up for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings, indoors and out. We enjoyed every minute and will be back.

We had a magical stay at Lake Hut, so calm and peaceful, great walks to the lake where our dogs had a ball running in and out of the water and adventuring. The outdoor bath under the stars was bliss and the indoor fire kept us very warm. Lisa is an excellent host and very quick to reply to all questions. we will definitely book again thank you very much for our stay.

Gorgeous little bach with an amazing view of the coast and forested bluffs. We loved this place - secluded and quiet with a great kitchen and thoughtfully designed living area plus outdoor deck space. Would definitely stay again.

An amazing place to stay. Spacious for a couple, gorgeous bathroom, the heated floor tiles were nice and the bedroom lovely. I would happily stay again!

This place was so magical with so many interesting things to experience. We had a wonderful time using the outdoor bathtub, enjoying a campfire underneath of a beauty of night sky. The Host went out of her way to help us with a few food items, as the near store was a bit far away and we checked in a bit late. We could hear the ocean from her place too, very peaceful.
