Monthly Rentals in Cable

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bear Den. Very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Very affordable. Close to local attractions in the Cable/Hayward area (be sure to check out the R Place Cafe across the street). The owner is very friendly and helpful. Check-in and instructions are a breeze. They obviously take care and pride in the upkeep of their rental. Loved the floor plan with the large bedrooms at either end, reminded us of having our own train car. Unique and highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the space for both working remotely and having a home base for nearby outdoor adventures. The only hiccup came when we attempted to get in - the door code wasn't working but, thankfully, the host responded quickly and reset the code for us remotely. Problem solved quickly. Inside, the coffee setup was OFF THE HOOK (and I'm picky about that), the rooms and beds were comfortable. A single bathroom for so many bedrooms is a bit of a drag but wasn't an issue for us. It's an old house that's been updated very well but maintains a good bit of it's old house charm. That does, however, come with some downsides in terms of old house smells and "rustic" cabinetry. But those were not deal-breakers and we still had such a great, comfortable time in the space. We would definitely book again because we've quickly fallen in love with the nearby and now we know we have a home great base.

Unique place, close to town, but yet private. Sauna was an awesome experience. House was very clean and very spacious.

Janice’s place was warm and welcoming even on the coldest of weekends! We had everything we needed to make the most of our time in beautiful Cable. We will be back!
