This place was absolutely perfect! The house is full of charm, and nicely decorated. I loved all the extras- the robe in the bathroom, the extra pillows and throw blankets, the frozen pizza in the freezer, the coffee set up.. the list goes on. I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in town!

During our stay, a storm knocked out the power to the home for the first night and much of the second day. Jessica was very responsive, checking in to see how things were going and keeping us updated on the power situation. The home was clean and well cared for. It is near a railroad track, so be prepared for many trains passing through, but otherwise, a nice quiet place to stay.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a cozy one-bedroom house in Biggsville, Illinois, hosted by Brian and Susan. We couldn't have been more satisfied with our experience. The location was ideal—just half a mile from The Barn at Fairview Acres, making it incredibly convenient for attending our grand daughter's wedding . The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials needed for a pleasant stay. Their communication was prompt and friendly, ensuring we felt welcomed and well-informed throughout our stay. The neighborhood was peaceful, allowing there opportunity for relaxing walks. The check-in process was seamless, and the house was exactly as described in the listing. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone attending an event at The Barn at Fairview Acres or simply looking for a quiet retreat in the area.

Cozy and perfect for our multi-gen getaway! The home had everything we needed and was great for our trip to Macomb. Jennifer is a fabulous host! So attentive and proactive and super fast responses to our questions. We had a great time and would highly recommended it!

I was thrilled to find a place that allowed fur babies. They and I enjoyed our stay in this cute little house.

I had family coming in from out of town for my daughter's 1 at Birthday. The home beautiful, comfortable and clean. Plenty of space for family and friends to hang out and have good times. The kitchen had everything we needed. And the yard was beautiful for grilling. I will definitely be booking this home again in the future for my family. I like to thank our host. Ashley, she was amazing. Couldn't ask for better.

Brian met us at the house to give us a key and answer any questions we had. The house is like stepping into Grandma’s place. Very comfortable and homey. And the location is the show stopper, it is literally right on the Mississippi River. There is a great beach, with a fire ring and chairs and even a few kayaks. The cabin is above the Keokuk lock and dam, so current is slow near shore and it is gorgeous with Iowa being what looks to be at least a half a mile away. The main bed has a huge picture window overlooking the river and we sleep with the screened windows open and listened to the barges going by. Very relaxing and beautiful, I highly recommend this wonderful cabin.

Joel’s apartment was exactly what my boys and I needed during our recent trip home to visit family. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. With street parking available right out front and being located in right off the south side of the town square, we could walk to shops/restaurants on the square or be to my parents in minutes.

This home is a great place to stay. Everything was organized with labels and clean. The neighborhood was welcoming and the neighbors were friendly. We didn’t have much time to enjoy the yard, but it is set up to be a great place to gather. The home had plenty of space to relax and the beds were comfy and clean. Matt even left fresh treats for our furbaby! We highly recommend.

My two dogs and I were in the region for a sheep herding clinic. We had a great stay. The apartment was very liveable-- clean, quiet, and everything you need to feel at home. Andrew is a wonder host. I recommend it and would stay again if I find myself in the area.

The hosts were friendly and the place was warm and full of hospitality. We enjoyed the quiet. It was a beautiful place to sit out on the deck or to take a walk. It was worth the drive to Galesburg every day for the quiet and beautiful location.The hosts were responsive and friendly.

Second time staying at Tami’s place. It’s a nice little 2 bedroom house - just what we needed. I appreciated the small fenced-in yard - convenient for letting out the dog.

Booked this stay last minute and for only one night — it’s a great spot and Jennifer & co. are great hosts. All amenities you could ask for + the swim spa is great for stargazing. Beautiful private lake with a trail around it, plenty of space for a big group, and other options for small groups. Perfect if you like being outdoors and want a peaceful weekend getaway. Highly recommend.

The pictures didn’t do this place justice. Place was quite spacious for a family of six adults. Very clean and generous on the amenities that you would need to make you feel at home.

I loved staying at this Airbnb. Everything about it was perfect. I loved was how each bedroom had its own bathroom. The hot tub was a huge bonus. This home was well stocked, with towels, toilet paper, tissue, and much more. I've stayed at quite a few airbnbs and this is one of my favorites! Larry the host was great as well. He communicated well and there were instructions on how to work the hot and tv which was great. I will definitely stay here again.

If your thinking about booking this stay JUST DO IT. It was definitely worth the stay. My boyfriend and I traveled for our anniversary and stayed just one night. We are already talking about coming back. The hosts are unbelievably accommodating and friendly. Could not recommend more! Make sure you are ready to check out all they have to offer and walk around the lake, play with their cats, have a fire, swim in the spa, have sunset on the dock!

Great location, easy to access. My kids loved the hot tub and seeing the animals on the farm. We even went to the Belted Cow just up the road for some fresh cinnamon rolls and donuts. Really enjoyed our stay!
