Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Boston

We had a wonderful stay at Christopher’s place! The location is absolutely beautiful with ocean views and views of the skyline. The house was so comfortable and clean, we adored the projector screen, hot tub, and heated bathroom floor. Huge plus on being dog friendly! We hope to return for another stay soon!

My family and I spent Christmas there. It was a great stay. I really appreciated the grounds keeper coming over after work to check on the pool cover pull out racks the crew installed while we were there. Hope they work out well for the next people. The bars on the hot tub side were a little snug . We did end up taking the hot tub cover off to make room for us to be in the hot tub. Everything was beautiful though. Wish I could afford it again. It was a little pricey for us. Happy holidays to all!

My group and I booked with Alexander very last minute after we had found out we unexpectedly needed a new Airbnb. The entire Top Shelf Rental team did a fantastic job making sure we would all be all be taken care of after all the stress of our previous cancellation. Everyone was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. My group was so pleased with our stay that we are all already considering booking again in the near future! The townhouse was very spacious and welcoming. Alexander was also kind and helpful with providing local recommendations for us. The location was absolutely perfect. We were tucked on a beautiful side street which was walking distance to many different types of restaurants and bars. (We loved the Supper Club at Capo!!) Thank you Alexander and Kaleen for providing the perfect place for our trip to Boston!

Cozy cottage right on the water. The place has plenty of sleeping space, beautiful views, and comfortable furniture. I’m sure this place is fabulous in the summer. The hot tub was wonderful on a cold night. We really enjoyed our stay.

Doug and Hope were fantastic hosts. Very friendly and willing to help with anything I may have needed. I especially appreciated the extra attention they put into welcoming us by giving a small welcome gift and note. You can tell they pay attention to the details. The property is beautiful as well! Loved our time there.

It’s in a great location & the place has an antique feel with modern amenities, which is perfect. There’s a target close by and a price rite across the street so very accessible.

Daniella was extremely communicative and went above and beyond for me by providing a crib for my baby and even inviting us to her Halloween party. Wonderful stay! I had to be location specific and was very happy. Hope to visit again soon!

Great accommodations, accurately described. Location was perfect. Lots of nearby restaurants, shops and transit options.

The rental was perfectly fine for our needs. Some of the instructions in the guest booklet or a little outdated but due to the good communication this was not a problem. The dryer needs a new belt. I dried a load of laundry around 11:30 p.m. at night and it was extremely loud but the dryer did dry the clothes. The lock on the door where you put your code in does not exactly match up to the lock in the door, so it took a few times in order to lock the door. There was plenty of parking on the street and the owner did shovel part of the pathway for safety reasons. My father uses a cane and is not stable on his feet so if you are in Boston when it is snowing it is a little bit of a walk down the driveway to street parking. The hosts were responsive and very friendly. and I would definitely stay here again. the rental was very quaint, clean and very inviting

We needed a pet friendly place north of Boston with a driveway and this fit the bill! We were comfortable for the few nights we were there and had everything we needed! Karen was very responsive to the few questions I had.

Loved our stay at Venus’s place! It was beautifully designed and had super comfortable beds—Venus herself is a fantastic communicator who helped us resolve several complications that came up, she goes above and beyond! Highly recommend!

The house looked and smelled clean. The cleanest airbnb that I have been in for a long time. Beds were very comfortable, sheets and comforters nice. Like staying in nice hotel. Highly recommend. We will stay there again for family gatherings. Thanks for the awesome experience and great location!!

This was the best AirB&B we have stayed at in the Boston area. The accommodations were exactly as described and so comfortable. Our 3 small dogs felt at home. It was wonderful to have the park near by for walks with the dogs. We look forward to staying again.

My family and I stayed at Adam’s house for a wedding we had over a weekend and we felt right at home! Adam had given very thorough instructions upon entering his home and had clearly laid out what to expect during our stay. His home was beautiful with great decor and was spotless! He also gave us great recommendations on food/activities that are around the area, and since we were visiting Medford for the first time this was super helpful! We also brought our two family dogs who felt right at home as well; they especially enjoyed the backyard! Would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you again, Adam!

We stayed at 8 Lambert Street for nearly a month while visiting relatives in Medford. The house is cozy and well furnished. Did a lot of cooking in the kitchen, which had plenty of cooking equipment, the basics of salt, pepper, olive and vegetable oil, and even a set of seasonings. Because we were staying over Christmas, Beth had done some holiday decorating before we arrived, which was wonderful and made the house very cheery. She was a responsive host and kept us stocked with the basics like paper towels and toilet tissue. She even included a baby gift for our new grandson on one occasion. The house was great for our stay - the steam heat combined with the modern thermostat kept us warm and cozy, even on some very cold nights. It's an older house, yes, but full of charm and warmth. The neighborhood is quiet and there are lots of food choices nearby if you don't want to cook. Highly recommend Nappi's Restaurant (cash only) and Fioritaly Trattoria. Off street parking a plus.

Hanky was very responsive to all inquiries. The only thing we noted was that the dishwasher didn’t seem to be working, but Hanky was OK with us just leaving all dirty dishes in the sink. Loved the location - lots of great shopping and restaurants. Would rent again!

The house was easy to find in a tucked away location. The interior of the house was charming, clutter free and the towels and bedding were extremely clean, and scent free which I always appreciate as someone with sensitive skin. We stayed very warm and cozy. We spent time walking the neighborhood and adjacent trail and loved seeing the history of Marblehead all around us.

We traveled in a family trip with 5 adults and my 2 boys (4 a 7 yo) and we spend the most wonderful time at Susan's place, the house is big and exactly what you see in pictures, clean and with everything we needed. The neighbourhood is quiet, beautiful, even neighbours were friendly when we had the time to say hello at distance. Supermarkets, stores and restaurants are close and going to downtown Boston was super easy, we rented a big full SUV and the parking was huge even for more cars. The amenities in the house were spotless and above all, the communication Susan had at all time was so friendly and attentive but most important was there for any concern or minor problems at any time. This house made us feel like home and was the perfect spot for our amazing trip and spending the thanksgiving holidays in family. We missed the chance to use the deck and pool because of cold weather, so we definitely and without hesitance will come back to this beautiful place.

The house accommodated our family of five and a dog perfectly, and the common areas allowed us to gather all together as well as spread out by activity: E.G. TV watchers in the living room, game players at the kitchen table, basketball player in the backyard.

This place is a GEM! We kept calling it the retro Barbie dream house! Every space is perfectly curated and a wonder to explore. The space is interactive; they encourage you to play with the space in unique ways. Almost everything is for sale too, so when you fall in love with a trinket or piece of furniture- you can buy it! Such a fun idea! I appreciated the signs and labels which made everything easy to navigate. The beds were comfortable and towels and linens were soft and clean. We’ll be back in the summer for the pool!

Nice suburban neighborhood. House backs up to highway with road noise noticeable in backyard but the interior is very quiet and quiet hours are well observed. Host was respectful, friendly and very accomodating.

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect place for families with children. So close to the beach with all the beach and home necessities you need while on vacation! Quaint town that was quiet but still has plenty of restaurants to visit. Overall, a great place!
