Family-friendly vacation rentals in Bologna

What a creative, cozy, and perfect home away from home this was. Giusy and Claudio made our stay as comfortable as can be. They left us snacks, wine, food, and anything else we may have needed. On top of that, they were extremely friendly and responsive to check if we needed anything else. The culture and area is filled with so much beauty, history, and food! Giusy and Claudio’s place was the perfect gem, to make the trip that much more perfect. Mornings in their backspace, window open, and an espresso, should be how everyone starts their day:) Thank you for everything, it was perfect:)

Very convenient place for those traveling by car and also close to the center of Bologna both by car and on foot. Very cozy and spacious house, with everything you need for our 5 days of overnight stay.

Alvise's place was modern, comfortable, clean, well equipped, and in a great location. Hosts were easy to reach, and met us on the first day. Host had clean instructions and great recommendations on what's around the neighborhood. Would highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay at Maria’s villa in the countryside of Bologna! The villa was spotlessly clean, incredibly peaceful, and perfect for a restful getaway. We all slept exceptionally well thanks to the calm surroundings. Highly recommend for anyone looking for relaxation and comfort in a beautiful setting!

The stay was pleasant, the apartment was as described in the listing, including amenities. We also found everyday products (oil, salt, sugar, coffee, pods, spices, absorbent paper, ...). The location is surrounded by greenery, quiet, with the possibility of experiencing the outdoor spaces safely. It is necessary to reach it by vehicle. A few hundred meters away is a very evocative river path.

We had a wonderful long weekend in Bologna and our accommodation was perfect - great decor, very clean and fully equipped with everything you would need for a relaxing weekend. The location is superb, just off Piazza Maggiore and everything worth seeing is walkable from the apartment. Excellent place!

Really liked this place. We wanted somewhere a bit quirky in near the town and that’s exactly what we got. Was a perfect distance away from the town to explore and start working up an appetite for dinner. Everything we needed was there and clearly explained. Would definitely look to stay here again if/when we’re back in Bologna Great place overall. Worth 5 stars for the price

Very close to the city center. Perfect place to stay at when you’re wanting to be close to the center and still have your space. Very friendly host!

very nice clean and quiet apartment. is centrally located, we did everything on foot. The apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly need, especially in the kitchen everything is in it. The bed is large and cozy. The bathroom is practical, the living area comfortable with sofa. On the terrace you can sit and eat, by planting very private. Since the complex of houses can only be reached with keys, the neighborhood is very safe. There are grocery stores, small restaurants and buses nearby. Google maps sends you in weirdly from the main road via San Emilia, but there is no getting through. So enter the address via the normal via A.Z. and also go from the side to the entrance. Then everything is very straightforward, We highly recommend the apartment!

Words cannot explain how beautiful this home is! From the warm fireplace to the beautiful furnishings and feel of the home, we loved EVERYTHING about it. Tiziano was so helpful with recommendations and we can’t wait to come visit again and share a bottle of wine with him next time. 10/10 would recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a small town home with plenty of small local places to eat/drink.

Beautiful house and great experience especially in large groups even with children

Really nice place! Incredibly beautiful surroundings and nice and clean accommodation. Lovely private terrace. The pool was super nice and clean, and we had it all to ourselves. Valter is very friendly and he was flexible both regarding arrival and departure. Although Valter doesn't speak English, communication works fine with Google Translate. Although Valter and his wife live in the same building, you don't hear much from them, so you feel like you have the place all to yourself. A very small downside; The bed on the 1st floor was a very hard. And from the description, you might think that there is aircondition in both bedrooms. However, I had already read in another review that there is only aircon in one of the bedrooms and a fan in the other. We highly recommend the place and would live to visit again some day.

We had a very joyful stay, host was friendly from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. Loved all the animals and the beautiful scenery. Breakfast was very tasty and fresh. Communication was very easy and we felt right at home.

We just stayed at Giulia's farm and found everything to be fantastic: the interior spaces, the pool and the garden are very well-kept, the cleanliness of the room and the attention to detail. But what makes, in our opinion, this very special place is Giulia's extreme hospitality, friendliness and humanity - which was not at all obvious - which went out of her way to make our short stay perfect, from offering us an aperitif to booking for us also a wonderful apericena in the vineyard on a nearby farm. Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. Perfect house, high quality, perfect quiet area, beautiful surroundings. Very nice pool, close to a town for groceries. And I would highly recommend to book the cook!
