The apartment was nice and clean, close the river. We didn’t know there wasn’t a TV. We should have noticed it I guess. It wasn’t a problem for us. It was a new ce place to stay, and dog friendly.

David’s property was very serine. 15 minute drive to town. The view was amazing breathtaking, the hot tub was immaculate and the surroundings were beautiful such attention to detail. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway this is the spot

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin was even better than the pictures, beautifully designed with attention to detail and perfectly clean as well. We enjoyed local hikes along the parkway nearby and loved our time relaxing and recharging at the cabin. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house I a peaceful location. The house had everything we needed and more. Stocked kitchen, movie theater room, fire pit and nice size dock with water toys. Stephanie was responsive and friendly throughout the rental process. Her house is a little out of the way but worth it for the peace and quiet in a beautiful location.

We had a great stay. The property is beautiful and peaceful. They have done a great job making it a little piece of paradise! KT house was clean, cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The Pavilion and Redd's Pub was wonderful. Eddie was great and hung out with us for a bit at the pub for great conversation, laughter, and a few drinks! They go above and beyond what most hosts do in the Airbnb's we've stayed at. We highly recommend staying at KT house and hope we make it back there again sometime! Thanks so much for the great stay!

We really enjoyed our visit! The house was perfect. We were so happy just relaxing on the deck and in the hot tub. We lost power only briefly but the generator kicked on so no real interruption. We found it hard to leave and head back home. Thank you for the wine as well as such a beautiful place to spend our vacation.

This yurt was perfect. The bee theme thru out was awesome for my children.

Very quiet and peaceful location with farm/country scenery all around. Cabin was cozy and comfortable ... ideal for a couple. The host was very responsive and also informative about nearby points of interest. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

Place was amazing, easy to find and very peaceful. unfortunately the wifi password listed was incorrect and we were so busy we didn't have a chance to ask for an updated one. The refrigerator was also not working and didn't keep our food cold/frozen. Overall, a wonderful trip! I believe if we were less busy and asked Cathy about both wifi/fridge she would have solved those issues for us. We only stayed 2 nights so these were minor things!

I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway! Ruth’s place in Galax was the perfect escape after a hectic end to the school year. The home was peaceful, spotless, and beautifully maintained—exactly what I needed to relax and recharge. Ruth was a thoughtful and responsive host, and everything from check-in to check-out was seamless. The quiet surroundings and small-town charm made it even more special. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

I loved staying at Mariners Landing in this lovely condo. It was perfect for a peaceful couple of nights away in the "off season" though any season at Smith Mountain Lake is beautiful! I enjoyed the amenities including the indoor pool, game room, and beach area, and had a fabulous meal from Bruno's Clubhouse. The condo was beautifully decorated and I spent a lot of time on the lakefront balcony. Definitely recommend a stay here!

Beckham is very friendly, accommodating and helpful. His place is exactly what he describes it as- an easy, inexpensive and comfortable place for families traveling with dogs. We have a large dog and the house and yard were perfect for his high energy.

Great place, very large, very eclectic and so many outdoor options. Just a few min from trails and restaurants. Hosts were amazing and very communicative.

Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again.

Anna’s home was the perfect home base for us and our pup during our time in Roanoke. It was the perfect size and had thoughtful amenities for both humans and dogs alike! We loved the Welcome Book with tips, tricks, and recommendations. This home was located in an awesome and quiet location very close to Grandin Village, so it was quick and easy to visit restaurants and pick up groceries, and close to excellent hiking too. We’d love to stay here again!

Beautiful and serene weekend retreat. We felt so at home. Hosts spare no expense to ensure that quests are content. I will defenitly stay here again in the future.

Brandon was an excellent host. We were moving from north to south and he allowed us to arrive at a flexible time due to the long drive. He was a great host and the place felt very welcoming. PLEASE consider staying here, thank you so much Brandon!

Tracy was very accommodating with changes made before the trip. The house was spotless and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. She was responsive with communication while we were and instructions about check in and out were very clear. Would stay there again.

This is a very nice and quiet place to stay. A place to get a way but still close enough to anything you may need.

This is our home away from home when we go to our annual family reunion. Julie’s home is spacious, welcoming and beautiful. The home is always well-stocked with the necessities and a few extra touches, like a bowl of welcome snacks, coffee for the Keurig, etc. We love Starling Place. We have stayed three years in a row and will be back next year.

We arrived early, and our hosts were kind enough to allow us to enter early. We walked in and instantly felt at home. This listing actually made the house seem smaller than it is. This was a fantastic location for going to Metallica at VT and if we are in the area will definitely see if it is available. Learning the history of the house was also awesome. Definitely recommend.
