Our second stay at this lovely location. It's definitely a quirky spot, but it fits us perfectly. The kitchen is well-stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the living spaces are lovely. The outdoor space is great as well - the hot tub, sauna, and sitting areas are all very pleasant. Having the hosts "on site" - just across the yard - makes for very friendly interactions with them and their charming dogs. The location is just about perfect - close enough to downtown that you can walk if you're feeling frisky, no worries regarding parking, no safety concerns in the neighborhood, as best I could tell. A park at the end of the block with a playground, dog park area, disc golf, ball field, etc. Elizabeth and Vijay are also extremely kind and accommodating. They checked in with us regularly to make sure we had anything we needed. One day, I'll be curious to investigate their other property, but when we take a trip to Roanoke, we will certainly check their availability first.

Shirleyann is a friendly and welcoming host with a quiet and peaceful property 10 minutes from downtown Floyd. The BnB is comfortable, clean, and has everything you need, including yummy breakfast foods in the fridge. We look forward to staying there again.

David’s place was wonderful and very relaxing stay. The tiny house was exactly as described and the outdoor area was lovely.

Words just cannot express how spectacular this place is! Rhonda and Jeff pulled off what some might call impossible! The cabin sits atop a stream that will hum you to sleep and mesmerize you at sunrise! My husband and I travel a lot, and this couples cabin is more romantic and unique than anything we have ever seen! Rhonda and Jeff have gone beyond compare with attention to detail! We are already talking about another trip to Cross Creek! Just outstanding! Thank you for an amazing getaway! Just wow!

We had a great time here over our Spring Break. There is so much to do there you don't need to leave!! We loved the dock and boats, and the younger kids in our group loved the floating play mat. When it was too windy to play outside we stayed busy with ping pong, movies and PacMan. The huge kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. Stephanie was super helpful and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

This truly was the most fantastic get away. The cabin and property were immaculate. Having full use of the hot tub at this price point was a huge draw. Gas grill, flat top and smoker available for our use and Eddie even fired up the grill and got the barbque tools for us. Great conversation with Eddie and family, they were present to socialize and help as needed but not invasive at all. They thought of everything with this rental, I cannot think of a thing I would change. Relaxing country place with little creek is a perfect place to unwind.

So spacious. Plenty of beds to choose from. The hot tub is an added bonus. We felt at home. We would stay at Amanda’s properties again!

My friend and I had an incredible stay at Michelle's place! The cabin was exactly as described and had a lot of privacy. The surroundings were beautiful - the best part was the riding stables only a four minute drive away. Definitely go for a ride and stop by the petting zoo:) Look forward to staying in the future!

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

The home was much more than I expected. My host was super.

I loved staying at Mariners Landing in this lovely condo. It was perfect for a peaceful couple of nights away in the "off season" though any season at Smith Mountain Lake is beautiful! I enjoyed the amenities including the indoor pool, game room, and beach area, and had a fabulous meal from Bruno's Clubhouse. The condo was beautifully decorated and I spent a lot of time on the lakefront balcony. Definitely recommend a stay here!

Had a wonderful time with the family, Tammy was a great host! Very responsive and communicative. Definitely a better fit for older kids (the hills 🤣), but Tammy had ALL the essentials for babies to be accommodated and right at home! And the littles loved fishing too. It was an excellent spring break for us!

We highly recommend this place! We especially appreciated the very well-stocked kitchen, the super interesting architecture and interior design, the many comfortable seating options, and the gorgeous natural surroundings.

Perfect family setting! beautiful home! Amazing amenities and a porch meant for sitting! The yard is nicely cleaned and fenced in so little ones and Dogs are safe while enjoying the great outdoors! There's even a Poo Station! The home is well appointed with all of the things that you need for your stay! Nice big couch, recliner, bar stools for the extremely nice kitchen, and a butcher block table to die for! The appliances are up to date, plenty of refrigerator space, and a full range with oven and over the top microwave with a true pass through exhaust fan! The mattresses are medium to firm, and comfortable as they get! Parking is abundant and super convenient to the side deck for loading and unloading! The place is a Hidden Treasure in Southern West Virginia!!!!

We had a quick night of sleep at Richard’s while traveling. It was extremely quiet, with beautiful country surroundings. The place was spotless. It would probably be a great area for a romantic getaway. As shown in photos!

The house was super cute. This was the first place we've stayed in that had a really nice, well stocked coffee bar. They had everything that we needed to make the stay very nice. AND the best part was you don't really have to do anything when you checkout. I've never understood why you need to strip the beds, do all the dishes, take out the trash, and so on when you usually pay over $100 cleaning fee. Rebecca didn't have any instructions for checking out. She said the maid service would take care of everything. THAT IS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE!! Thank you!

This place was amazing. House on a hill with vistas 360. Ezekiel could not have been more thoughtful when preparing the house. Completely stacked kitchen and not with cheap stuff- it was all high quality. Beds, furniture bathrooms were expertly done. My family had a wonderful time and getting to know Ezekiel was blessing to us. Wonderful host who truly cares. Pro tip- you are out there- bring what you need. Nothing is close and its totally worth it.

Good place in a good location. Outside the hustle and bustle of the main part of the city, but still close enough to do things. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and has a large basement area with 2 additional bedrooms. Great for my family and I to stay the night while traveling across country.

The Carriage House oozes charm and comfort. The house is very clean and well-equipped with all of the comforts of home and Jonathan provided timely information to make everything seamless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great spot. Right in the middle of Floyd. Place was clean and easy to check into. Very fair rate for this space. If you’re staying in Floyd, this is the place to look. Barb is responsive and helpful.

This is the absolute top shelf of places to stay at Smith Mountain Lake. The deck and water view can’t be beat. The living space is second to none on a rainy or hot day. Book here with confidence.
