Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Blacksburg

Beautiful Mountain Views with spectacular sunrises and a very serene setting. Starry nights were fantastic by the fire lit in the chimenea. Very warm and cozy interior with a comfortable bed and pillows. We had everything we needed and didn’t want to leave. Neither did our dog!

This was our second time staying at this rustic little farmhouse and it was just as nice the second time, if not better! We came the first time for my niece's orientation at VA Tech and we returned 4 years later with more people for her graduation. It's convenient to Blacksburg, but far enough away that you escape the craziness of Tech parents pouring into town. The history of the house and its painstaking restoration is well documented and displayed for a fascinating read. The whole property is a peaceful oasis of gorgeous rolling hills, farmland and woods. David provides detailed maps for hiking the trails and we saw deer casually walking by every day. At night, you have an unspoiled view of the stars and, instead of traffic noise, everything is silent, other than the owls and coyotes in the distance. There's no better place to watch a meteor shower. Even though we had more people this time, the house still felt simultaneously spacious and cozy. This place is a hidden gem!

Everyone enjoyed staying here! Came up for a football game! Met the neighbor. Super nice people! Loved seeing the deer in the area! Couldn’t believe we saw 2 large bucks walking around during the day! Wish we had our boat! Beautiful looking across the lake and seeing the fall foliage!

Patricia was a great host with a great house and property. We very much enjoyed our stay and her hospitality. Would 100% staying with a group of friends or family.

What a great rental!! We had our grown children over and had plenty of room for everyone. If anything there wasn't enough time to take advantage of all the amenities offered at this location. Stephanie was very helpful, answering any questions I had prior to arrival and during our stay. Will absolutely be staying there again!!

We found the home in very good condition and both the bathrooms and the outdoor firepit really stood out. There was plenty of space.

Beautiful home located within a quick walk to the Main Street with local shops, restaurants and things to do. The house is so cute and cozy, bed was amazingly comfortable and there were plenty of condiments and accessories provided so I didn’t have to purchase a bunch. Norma Jean is very responsive, proactively communicating and just a pleasant host. Highly recommend!

Emily’s house was perfect for the two nights we stayed in Roanoke. The house was spotless, very nicely decorated and close to things to do in the area. Wish it was warmer so that we could have enjoyed the outside area, maybe another time. I would definitely recommend staying at Emily’s house.

Birgit is a very nice host, she is willing to work with you. And if you need anything she has your back. She even gave us recommendations for restaurants and even gave me and my partner who was with me what the housing market around was like. I absolutely will come back and I recommend Birgit as an AirBnb host

Great place to stay for our weekend at the VT football game. William was very communicative and easy to work with. The basement apartment was very spacious and was well appointed with lots of Hokie decor.

If I could give a 10 star rating I would. This house is adorable, well stocked, quiet, and quite simply perfect. Taylor was proactive with communicating. We would stay here again if in the area again.

The apartment is very comfortable and cozy feeling. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked with anything we might need. Very nice outdoor sitting and eating area as well. We had such a relaxing time!

We arrived at the mill having driven out from Asheville the weekend of the hurricane. Adam & Marcie could not have been more helpful and sympathetic. We only wished we had booked to stay for longer as we needed time to decompress after our experience, however it really was the right place to be. Thank you very much

This was simply the most amazing stay I have ever had! Space was larger than it looks in the photos & laid out very well. Everything was pristine & clean, which is what always matters to me most. Kitchen was well equipped so we were able to cook & great location as we were able to walk to the Co-op just a little over a mile away. And did I mention our favorite brewery in Roanoke is right in the building? Great communication from host too. Highly highly recommended!

Beautiful home in a remote area! My wife and I stayed here with our kids and dog while driving home from thanksgiving and felt right at home.

I really enjoyed my stay the place was absolutely beautiful and I really needed the break so peaceful and serene it was so nice seeing all the animals!!! Melba was so sweet as well and was really great at communicating! I will be back soon!

We loved our stay here. The scenery is amazing and the cabin itself felt very private. Perfect for a cozy getaway. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for someplace quiet to spend the weekend away.

This was our second visit to Vicky’s cabin, and it didn’t disappoint. The serene, private setting provides a perfect escape from the chaos of everyday life. We loved sipping wine on the screened-in patio, listening to the soothing sounds of the river below. The cabin is also conveniently close to some of the most stunning views on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We can’t wait to return for our third stay! Thanks again for another lovely visit!

This was our annual trip to find our Christmas tree and we enjoyed our stay. The cabin was exactly as described, in a beautiful and peaceful location, while being conveniently located to restaurants & shopping. I would like to return for a warm weather vacation to fully enjoy the creek and outdoor amenities!

My wife and I lived down the road for a few years. We made many friends in and around the NRV. Great place to stay while we got together with old friends. Fins Folly was just as described. The host checked in by text to make sure everything was good, which it was. I would highly recommend Finns Folly for a peaceful experience but, with all the amenities needed to enjoy your stay.

Great little cabin nestled out of the way from any neighbors or traffic. If you like rustic settings, this is your place. Would definitely stay there again
