Vacation rentals with lake access in Bass Lake

Very nice, clean, and beautiful home. Super cozy, this is our go to place when we come to see family now!

This house is super cute. It was perfect for spending time in Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. A short easy walk to the beach on Lake Michigan.

We had a great stay. The home is spotless and recently remodeled with modern appliances and amenities. It is convenient to both the State and National Parks, Michigan City, and Chesterton. Lots of space to spread out. Close to Southshore train service to Chicago. An excellent choice for anyone visiting family and/or friends in the area.

Great view, spacious house, wonderful weather. We love Lake Manitou.

Everyone in our group fell in love with the house. It was comfortable and Kristen provided a lot of sweet extra touches like mini soaps, sunscreen, games, etc. we would love to return! :)

We had a wonderful time at Mellow Yellow! The home was clean, spacious. The kitchen had everything that you could need, and the home was exactly how it was described! Marie was very flexible and easy to work with, as well as excellent in her communication. This was one of our favorite locations that we have stayed at through Airbnb. We will absolutely consider coming back again as we plan our next trip!

I did not stay at the home, as I rented it for my models to use. I asked them to review and here’s what they said….. "Our group had a lovely time at the house. It was clean, cozy, had great water pressure and didnt run out of hot water even though all of us were getting ready back to back. The massive back yard and the peddleboat were a bonus. We would finish work, get some hot tea, and go out on the water together...surround ourselves with lily pads and say hello to the swans. It was really quite nice, plus a very convenient location to stores when we needed to pick things up coming and going. We hope to book here again!"

Daniel's place was the perfect home base for our family of 4 to explore Valpo. Gorgeous surroundings and a quick drive to many restaurants and activities. And Daniel was very kind/responsive throughout our stay!

The loft was such a great spot to stay. Carlo is very responsive and offered good recommendations. The room itself was so clean and the entire place was very peaceful. I love that there were quite a few restaurants in walking distance and just a few minute drive away from the beach. The hot tub and fire pit are amazing amenities to have access to as well. I will definitely stay again.

We had a great time at the sunshine house! It’s next to bar which wasn’t bad at all you really don’t hear anyone from there when upstairs. There was great parking and if it was full due to the bar you had the street parking as well. The place isn’t far from a little outlet mall which wasn’t bad nice. But overall we had a great time there and would book again.

Lisa was an amazing host! The location was great right on the lake and the space had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying with her!

Excellent communication and thoughtfully designed. Snacks and coffee were a nice touch. Would stay again.

Great place, centrally located. 5 minute walk to Cafe Max and Main Street shops in one direction, and the Lakehouse Grille or Culver Coffee in the other, with Papa's just a couple minutes beyond that. The patio and main bedroom balcony are great for morning coffee and enjoying the view. Suzy was very responsive to messages. Will likely stay here again on the next trip.

Great condo with short walk to beach. Host made sure everything was easy. Would stay again when I’m in the area.

Rhonda’s place is the perfect little getaway!

This was our second stay at the pretty Lake apartment and it was every bit as enjoyable as the first. Nothing like coffee with a beautiful view of the lake in the mornings.

We absolutely loved our stay at “the dump”and rate this a 4.8! Photos do not do this place justice, it’s incredibly well maintained and perfectly beach themed with modern touches. The kitchen is updated and had everything we needed, including toddler friendly cups, bowls, plates (which was a bonus). Couch, kitchen chairs, pillows and beds were comfortable. Beach area is absolutely incredible, very large and there are shells which our toddler loved collecting. What would make this a 5 star: umbrella or shade structure for the beach when needed (it was super hot during our stay), deep cleaning of all cob webs under and around furniture, filters for coffee machine, dishwasher pods, laundry pods/detergent, luggage stands, hooks everywhere for clothes, bathing suits, towels, etc., filtered water brita or similar. Overall an amazing long weekend spent on the beach, we even added an additional day to our stay and it was super easy. Thank you so much; we will be back!!

We used this house for a girls getaway long weekend and had a great time! We always like Michigan city for restaurants, the lake, outlet malls and more. The house was adorable and while it has close neighbors, it’s nestled in trees and felt private. We loved all the natural light that came in the house from big windows and enjoyed sitting outside on multiple decks! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Our hosts were extremely kind and responsive! We would definitely stay again…

We had a very peaceful stay. It was a quick drive from Chicago but really felt like we were far away. Meta Rose left excellent instructions & recommendations about the surrounding area. Would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay at the lakefront cottage and the beautiful view of the lake. The home was very clean and the furnishings were very comfortable. My small dog enjoyed fenced backyard and always wanted to go back outside.

Second year in a row for our family has stayed at Nicholas R's. It has worked out perfectly for us both times!

Charming lake house/cottage right on the Lake with everything that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Cozy and comfortable with an amazing view. Host was kind, helpful and responsive and we are thankful for them allowing us to stay in their home.

Unfortunately we did not stay here due to the weather but appreciate the understanding of the host.

I really enjoyed my stay. The place was cozy and comfortable. Very clean and matched the description. There was much to do in the area and only about 5 minutes from downtown New Buffalo. Kayse was very helpful and responsive if I had question. I would book again!
