lovely place in a really great location on the main street with all the bars, shops and restaurants plus a couple of minutes walk to the sea. Only thing to note is there was only one frying pan and one saucepan so if you plan to cook that might be a bit tricky. Comfy bed and great shower, would go back

We loved our stay at the penthouse. The views are wonderful, and it's so nice to wake up in the morning, walk into the lounge, and see the sun shining over the estuary. The apartment has everything you may need, and Samantha left lots of little treats and supplies around. It is around 25 mins to walk to the main attractions of Southend, but there are some good restaurants within a few minutes walk. We definitely recommend visiting the Cecelia Hotel restaurant.
