Absolutely spectacular. Beautiful location, quiet and private. Stunning old train carriages decked out beautifully with period, quality furnishing, sheets, curtains and all. It was a true pleasure to stay here and experience what is clearly a train fanatics life work. Place was spotless, well maintained, had everything you need and is a must stay. Our stay at the Unique Camp Wagon Retreat was wonderful, even though it rained during our entire stay. It was restful, cosy and we had lots of time to talk, play board games and even watch the kangaroos. The whole reserve is beautiful and we did go for a short walk when the weather let up a bit. We will return for a more in-depth discovery of the area. The old train wagon is well set-up and very quaint. Both Cate and Mick are great hosts. Well worth the visit!

Tony and I had an amazing and very romantic weekend staying in the carriage. A very unique accommodation and a fantastic experience.the extra special touches like farm fresh eggs left for us to have with our breakfast and having a hot bath whilst the sun was setting was amazing.We especially loved the guided tour of the farm getting to feed the pigs , sheep and cows and patting the donkey and family dogs is something we will never forget.Thankyou so much for an amazing weekend 🤗🥰

We had a fantastic stay. They are so friendly and helpful with a good sense of humor. Breakfast was served with a beautiful view so that’s a great start of the day. Hopefully we will be back in the area so we can schedule more time @ they’re relaxing property. We definitely recommend staying here ☺️.

What a beautiful and relaxing place. Carly's attention to detail is amazing. Everything you need is there. The new garden area with herbs and flowers is lovely. If you want a relaxing getaway to just sit on the balcony, sip local wine and look at a beautiful view then I can't recommend this venue highly enough. Thank you Carly.

Lyndall has ruined camping for us forever! Country air, cool water, relaxing vibes but with all of the comforts of home at just meters away. The train carriage was beautifully restored and had everything we needed, all while being off grid. We cooked by the fire pit, swam and relaxed amongst in this connected yet disconnected place. With a short drive to Echuca we never felt stranded or missing out. Lyndall was an amazing host and even delivered us a deck of cards and a replacement toothbrush that had been left at home. We loved the trip and will both highly recommend the place and be back.

Lovely relaxing getaway. Peaceful and private. All things we needed were at the cabin for our self catered stay. The deck was perfect to enjoy the cooler weather as was the fire pit. Hearing only birds when waking of a morning was exactly what I was hoping for. Will stay again. Thank you Merle for being the perfect host.

What an amazing location - beautiful setting and the perfect escape or potential home base to explore the area. The provisions supplied were thoughtful and delicious, the bed comfotable and a surprising amount of room. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! Thanks for an awesome experience.

This property exceeded our expectations. We had a large Bridal party stay and having the girls/boys on the same property, yet separate was an added bonus and very helpful for the photographers on the day. From the amenities, to the cleanliness, to the super responsive host, and OMG the comfy beds, and everything in between, we cannot wait to book another staycation! Could not recommend this property more highly.

It was a lovely and unique experience for our young family—felt like an adventure, but with all the comforts and amenities we needed. Plus, it was very environmentally conscious, which made it even better. We enjoyed it so much!

Our stay was fantastic. The train had everything we needed. The location had the most gorgeous sunsets, also perfect for stargazing on a clear night! Waking up to the sound of sheep in the morning definitely reminded us that we're not in the city any more! The train was rustic but had everything we needed. Highly recommend this airbnb to those who want something a little different.

Fantastic place to stay for a weekend in Stanthorpe. Brent was fantastic as a host. House was beautifully clean and well stocked with everything you needed. Beautiful location!!

Unique place to stay for tram/train lovers. Stayed with my young son and he felt right at home. Very comfortable space even on a 36 degree day, air con kept us very cool. Gorgeous surroundings, wonderful to sit outside for breakfast and see kookaburras close by.

I booked the weekend in one of the red rattlers for my son’s 4th birthday as he’s train obsessed and it was the best decision. He had the best time and I will 100% be coming back, Janine and her team are so friendly and welcoming highly recommend 😊🚂 Thank you Elyssa x

I was so excited to be able to stay in something as unique as this refurbished 1908 train carriage and Cheryl’s place didn’t disappoint, in fact everything here was beyond all my expectations. Situated on their farm near the main house but in its own quiet private little corner with views out over the grain crops, the distant trees, the extra bonus of the accompanying birdsong and Cheryl’s fabulous welcome. All mod cons here, you won’t be too cold or too hot thanks to the reverse cycle aircon, plus the kitchen is more than fully equiped to prepare a meal. I was on a motorbike journey around the Great Southern with some peaks of the nearby Stirling Range to climb, the carriage is conveniently located for an easy northern access to the Stirling Range NP. Loved the comfortable bed with the sunrise AND sunset views. I can see the love that’s gone into the restoration of this treasure. Thank you Cheryl for providing me with such a memorable travel experience. Until next time.

We had an amazing time as this beautiful place celebrating my 30th birthday. The location was perfect for a little getaway and the spa/pool facilities were incredible, even in the rain. Would definitely book again. Chris and Christine were also very accommodating allowing a few family members to join us for lunch. Thanks so much!

Beautiful, peaceful location close to town. The room was lovely, very unique with an eye for detail. We enjoyed a swim in the creek and relaxed at the firepit in the evening. It was just what we needed for a little getaway. Thankyou!
