Barn vacation rentals in Australia

Angie and Clive were extremely welcoming. They were very generous in allowing us to venture into all their beautiful gardens. The Barn was wonderful and suited my family - which included 4 adults. The Barn allowed us to find personal spaces with ample areas inside and out. We’ll certainly come back if Angie and Clive would welcome us.

We had a lovely stay at the Old School House! The cozy comfy cottage was perfect for a 2 night stay. We loved exploring the gardens with the chickens and Molly the dog. We enjoyed the fresh farm eggs, bread, yogurt, milk and fruit provided. Jennifer is incredibly welcoming and we highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway. Thank you!

We loved the peace, quiet and tranquility of the cottage - the location was very convenient especially if you want to travel down to Port Arthur, etc. The cottage was extremely clean and had so many beautiful characteristics, especially the history book left by Hana and Ben with photos of the cottage during the renovation process. We loved the super comfy bed and all of the gorgeous animals on the property! Hana was very lovely to deal with too - thank you so much!

We had a lovely time here, many games of pool and enjoyed the bonfire every night. Vicki and Trevor were very kind and gave us little treats as well. The place was well equipped - even had marshmallows for the bonfires. We enjoyed Summit and Heritage wineries nearby. The Truffle centre and Stanthorpe cheese are also close by. We enjoyed the peacefulness and look forward to staying here again when visiting Stanthorpe.

Lovely accommodation on a rural property. Suited our needs perfectly.

It was one of the best stays we had. Such a beautiful estate and place to stay. Very peaceful and scenic. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay. Marijan was fantastic and welcomed us warmly, shared lot of information about the estate. Highly recommended.

My partner, my dog and I wanted to do a short getaway that’s driving distance from where we live. We loved our stay. The space was quaint, cosy and quiet. There was also surprisingly lots to do in the surrounding suburbs! Most things to do were a short drive away. It’s the perfect place to recharge and take things slow!

We cannot thank Dominica enough for this magnificent Airbnb so we can finally have a rustic feel and enjoy this fruit farm atmosphere. We really appreciate the decor and cleanliness of this place. Is a very relaxing weekend and we are so thankful that we can bring our dog along. The variety of snacks, teas, coffee and cereal, milk and not forgetting the beautiful fresh hatched eggs, we feel very spoiled. Would definitely come stay again!

Fabulous place to stay.

Fantastic place to get away with unobstructed views of the city, But for my partner and I we found the friendly animals (those fluffy cows in particular) to be our favourite part, allowing us to feed them some bread and introduce ourselves on a personal level. Boots the cat was a great tour guide with plenty to say about the area, 10/10 would definitely go back again when we get the chance

Our large, extended family stayed at the farmhouse for five days. Angela communicated well with us and provided many ideas of what we could do in the district with our family. The house is large and was perfect in accommodating us all, with sensational views of the beautiful garden and distant mountains over the surrounding farmland from the large windows. It is very peaceful and a wonderful spot to use as a base for exploring the district (Mt Roland, Cradle Mountain, Tasmazia, Laffey Falls).

Wow, what a break away from reality. Barn and Bridge is a beautiful, quirky and immersive escape that ticks all the boxes. From the gorgeous and relaxing gardens, the homely and comforting yet eclectic decor, the multiple indoor and outdoor spaces to explore and hide in, the spa and other outdoor bath and shower options and the ponds and stream to sit by. What a treat. Heather is an amazing host and made us feel so welcome, baking amazing pastries accompanied by an anniversary cake and a bottle of Chandon. She even made treats for our dog. It is 15 to 20 minutes away from a great variety of beaches and at the doorstep of many wineries and places of interest. Heather was responsive when we had questions and provided advice to local attractions. It was just the two of us and our dog, but the place would be great for small groups of couples and families. I highly recommend you experience Barn and Bridge for yourself.

Backforest Barn is a delight, such a welcoming, comfortable, well-appointed space where your host has thought of everything! Dining on the deck was a highlight as was the beautiful spa area. For a stay with a friend, it was decadent to have our own ensuited rooms. The kitchen amenities were fantastic and the overall feel of the barn was charming. The location is tranquil and so close to stunning beaches and beautiful Berry. This place is a little piece of heaven

We absolutely loved this place. Such a beautiful and peaceful location, with cafes and bars a 2 min drive away and Byron Bay only 15mins away! The outdoor spaces with the outdoor showers were great, just what you needed after a day on the beach. The interior has been designed incredibly and the kitchen was filled up with every amenity you would need!! The hosts were extremely friendly and attentive. We would recommend this place to anyone! Super dog friendly too :)

Beautiful barn, perfect for a couple and their pet. Very clean and the outdoor area was lovely. It was a bit hot to sit outside but once the sun went down it was gorgeous. Our dog loved the outdoor area watching the sheep.

This was our second stay and it was great to go back. The accommodation is of a very high standard in a truly beautiful location. It is a place where you can just take time out and relax. Very highly recommend as a place to stay with a truly wonderful host.

What an absolutely amazing stay! Jason was so communicative, and went above and beyond with allowing early check-in, late check-out, and organised fresh flowers throughout the house, which made our stay extra special. Can't wait to return!

Great few nights in Somerset Stables - place was perfect for a family stay. Great welcome with some locally produced eggs and milk in the fridge as a nice gesture. We enjoyed hearing the animals chattering in the morning from Mogo zoo. Would recommend to people.

It feels hard to write a “review” when our stay at Michelle & Murray’s AirBNB was flawless. So instead, we’ll just share our experience… and say that from the moment we booked until the moment we left, we felt genuinely cared for and at ease. Michelle & Murray care deeply about their family, their stewardship of the land, the history of the people that lived on the land thousands of years before our time here, their guests, the condition of their AirBNB (immaculately clean, bright, cheerful, tastefully & practically designed), with so much thought & love put into everything that they do. They were always very responsive & proactive. They live right next door, and we felt like we had the best of both worlds—feeling like we had full privacy and welcome, ready use of the pool and outdoor amenities (BBQ, fire pit, walking the expansive grounds)—while our hosts were always easy to reach whenever we had a question or needed advice. Beautiful natural setting tended by beautiful souls. A+ :-)

Was the perfect place for our stay in such a beautiful picturesque location. Plenty of room, private & quiet. With the hectic schedule it was nice to have a place to go and just have some peace. Very accommodating and had, had quite severe weather storms and was quick to activate a generator when the power went out due to it so our stay had very minimal disruption due to his due diligence. Nice countryside location and Peter was all too helpful. Would highly recommend and would happily stay again.

Zoe was an absolutely lovely host for our stay at the Watershed. Her instructions to find the Watershed were very easy and helpful to follow. Chester is also the best, friendly and sweetest dog to meet on arrival. Zoe was very communicative and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to come back one day!!
