Chalet vacation rentals in Australia

Sam was very responsive and provided excellent instructions before our stay. The house fit the online description to perfection and the surrounding scenery will impress anyone fortunate enough to book Watson's. Between six of us, there was plenty of room and it was extremely affordable. We were here for a weekend of trout fishing and the location was perfect. An entry point to the Delatite River is just a short walk to the house where we saw fish and landed a good rainbow. We fished about a 4km stretch of the river over the weekend for about 6 trout and plenty of hook-ups that ended with fish spitting the hook before they could be landed. For wildlife enthusiasts, plenty of kangaroos, deer and birdlife will keep you entertained. Will definitely consider booking again for another fishing weekend.

On a sunny day, the loft is the most beautiful place to stay! On a rainy day, laying in the king size bed and watching the rain is also heaven! A beautiful location, with Mount Wellington trails literally at the back door. This place is great to visit. Just be aware it’s a bit of a walk from the car park to the accommodation (not too far, but a walk - recommended arriving in daylight hours) and the driveway can be a bit steep to turn around in a rental car without much grunt. But if none of that bothers you, it is a beautiful location to explore the area.

I had some lovely and much needed downtime in this little paradise in the forest. Thanks to the hosts, the trees, the little green snake, the wallabies, the goanna maybe and all the birdies. Oh I forgot the quartet of ducks at night. A great place to be quiet and find your stillness again 💜🤍❤️.

Bride’s chalet exceeded our expectations. The location was so peaceful and very private. We loved the log burner which warmed the chalet beautifully. We would absolutely love to stay again.

Our short stay at Sandy’s bungalow was very nice! A very short walk to the beach and nice cafes. The house itself was beautiful, private and spacious. The cleanliness was immaculate and communication with Sandy was easy and very informative regarding local attractions. Would highly recommend.

Jade was very helpful. Highland Lodge was easy to find, very private, spacious, comfortable and pleasant (as described). We would love to return sometime.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The accommodation was comfortable, spacious, and easily accessible, making it perfect for our family holiday in the snow. The host was incredibly responsive and always available to answer our questions, which made our experience even better. We had everything we needed for a great trip and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a lovely Easter long weekend at The Polo Club. We loved using the outdoor fire pit and there was a great games room for the kids.

Jo is an amazing host and her family are absolutely lovely, we had a wonderful stay as our first place in Australia. we stayed for a week and Jo was so helpful and friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better host to greet us on our first week here.

We loved our stay at Tanjil Creek Lodge. It was the perfect spot to stay on the mountain for a group of 12 of us. We will definitely be coming back to stay!

We loved our holiday in the Red Onion. It had all you could possibly want for a fabulous ski holiday. The chalet was thoughtfully equipped with all the basics plus so many wonderful extras, which made for a delightful stay (laundry powder, herbs and spices, huge range of books and entertainment). Di and George were wonderful hosts who gave us clear and easy to follow instructions with thoughtful local information and welcoming treats too. We would definitely like to return to the charming Red Onion in the future.

Good for big family and parties. Conveniet location for Bald hill and stanwell park and beaches on wollongong side.

Great place to stay, very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen with everything you can imagine. Very warm with great open fire and slow combustion heater. Heaps of games , pool table converts to table tennis table and darts board. Very convenient to both Perisher valley via ski tube, and thredbo for great father/son ski weekend.

The family and I were chasing a relaxing weekend and needed time away from work, this Airbnb did everything get needed to to help us relax and regenerate for the working week ahead! Will definitely be coming back here

We had a beautiful, peaceful stay at The Doctor's. Sitting near the fire, enjoying a wine and looking at the incredible view will be one of our holiday highlights.

Highly recommend Tracey’s beautiful Airbnb. The most gorgeous space with pitched ceilings, gorgeous surrounds and a cosy feel. We loved the walking distance to town, and loved a night in on the couch!

AMAZING!!!! I’m not even sure where to start. There were so many wonderful things about Ruse Estate.. i’m not even sure where to start.I could only describe it as Australian Tuscany. Surrounded by beautiful rolling vineyards. So quiet, you could hear a pin drop except for the kookaburra’s and various species of parrots singing in the background!!! if you’re looking for a quiet, unique stay, a little off the beaten path… This is the place for you!! We arrived with an early check-in that helped us out tremendously as we got there a little early. We had a wrench thrown into our weekend with some car trouble, Karen went above and beyond her host duties, and even called a personal friend to help us out, which we were able to fix and go on with our weekend! The Airbnb itself was modern and very clean, Big beautiful TV.. very comfortable bed, and we were delighted by the welcoming of freshly made sourdough bread made by Karen herself and a local bottle of wine!! Highly recommend!!! 100/10!💕

The Pink Chalet is a beautiful escape. Susan and Geoff were the perfect hosts, and even came to my rescue when I needed help lighting the fire! Everything from the linen, the beds, the back deck, the kitchen and the local recommendations, made me feel right at home. Can’t wait to return.

we had a lovely stay, the chalet remained cool on hot days and we enjoyed watching out onto the lake and all the birds. just a short drive to Pemberton centre with lots of food options, the tram and we enjoyed a walk around big brook dam. We had everything we needed

This is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in on our annual derby trip. Good bike storage, wash down area and plenty of space.
